The earliest you can get this achievement is on the Mars mission at the beginning of the game.
The guardians are the Cerberus enemies with the shields in front of them. The achievement tasks you with killing 10 of them by shooting them through the small slit in their shields. I simply set the came on Casual and used a sniper rifle to one hit them easily. There's an in-game tracker that pops up to monitor your progress with each kill. You can keep reloading a checkpoint to kill 10 of them to get the achievement easily :)

Significantly easier with the prothean beam weapon, which you get from the Eden Prime DLC. Can't find enough of these guys? Fire up the combat simulator in the Citadel DLC.

The, Pants, Party
Guardians are the enemy you'll be looking for to get this achievement. They will have a large shield blocking their entire body, but there will be a long slit near their eyes that you can shoot through. The Particle Rifle you get in the From Ashes "DLC" content is great for this, and any sniper rifle works perfectly as well.
