How to unlock the Lift Mastery achievement in Mass Effect - Definitive Guide

For the Biotic achievements you need to make an Adept classed character.

You do need a target to unlock this achievement, cast Lift on a Citadel Transport Terminal as that counts towards your 75.

When your team mates cast any of the Biotic/Tech spells they do NOT count towards your 75.

Lift is unlocked at level 5 so I had to play through Eden Prime and was able to get the achievement by casting it at the citadel like Randomnutta said.

I am using lift with a Sentinel will that work? When I cast on the Citadel Transport terminal nothing happens. Is it supposed to go up in the air? Thanks for the help.

The Mako is not a valid target for Lift. Oh, the time I wasted to learn that!

Hello! If I use the lift on a citidal transport, I save the game and then reload it. Still works the progress??

I did the basic target-cast-Citadel transport terminal routine, but since it takes awhile to recharge, I decided to save and load, which makes a whole lot faster. It is best to get all of them and go to the nearest terminal.

Also, it goes even faster to just load the game after you cast them, but if you turn off your console, you will lose your progress.

Just a little tip to make things go faster. Hope this helps :]

Seeing as nobody has mentioned this useful thread I guess I'll put it on here...

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=53...

As for my own tips...

-You will require to be at least level 6 to unlock all Engineer/Adept achievement related powers.

-Install Mass Effect to your hard drive, it literally halves the time taken to load a save file.

-Use the load save file method instead of waiting. NOTE: Make sure not to turn off your console as this deletes the temporary files. Save regularly to avoid this!

You don't have to be level 6 at all.

If you want to do a different method or a lazy method in getting this achievement and you don't want to do the long, boring, normal grind for this achievement. cry Then pull out your turbo controller and do the following:

- pick a class that has or have this skill obtainable
- when you have this skill available to use, go to the Citadel and face a Transport Terminal (make sure to target the little blue circle on it) and make sure it's safe (away from enemies)
- during normal gameplay hold the "RB" button
- highlight "Lift" then press "X" (Map Skill) to assign it to your "RB" button
- let go of the "RB" button
- set the "RB" button on turbo on your controller
- rubber band the "RB" button down (make sure you are still facing blue circle of Terminal)
- then watch TV, go on the internet, go to sleepsleep, go to the bathroom, go eat, or go to the bathroom and eat.

You can just let your turbo controller and rubber band to cast and recast the skill for you.smile In the mean while do your chores, do your fun homework, or go to work and come back later to get your cheevo!

Happy boosting! wave

Create an adept character as they are the only class with access to barrier, lift, throw, stasis, singularity and warp in their skill tree. It will be faster to work on these trophies using the one character.

You can earn this over time playing through the game using this on enemies you encounter.

To grind this and avoid spending too much time playing through the game again you can cast this on the Citadel Rapid Transit platforms (fast travel points). There is a blue circle on the CRT, aim inside there when casting.

Depending on the biotic power being used you may need to level up a bit to have enough points to purchase the powers needed to unlock trophies.

Lift is unlocked after putting 6 points into Throw.

Does the PC have to do it or can making your squadmate do it manually count?

That sucks! Well, good thing I made another character anyway. Thank you for clarifying!

Sorry for the comment spam. I refreshed the page several times and I guess that it reposted the comment I made each time. Weird.

Create an Adept character, as they can use all biotic powers. Go to the Citadel and target a Citadel Rapid Transport station. Use, Lift, Warp, Singularity, Stasis, and Barrier (although you could just run around casting barrier). Then wait for all your powers to recharge and repeat until you get all the achievements. It helps to have adrenaline rush as it resets all your cooldowns, so you can get an extra cast in whenever it is off cooldown.

Note: Ally power usage will not contribute to these achievements.
