How to unlock the Keep Your Nose Clean achievement in Max Payne 3 - Definitive Guide

I've found out a Method to make sure you always play as a Member of the SPP and therefore to quickly obtain the 100 Kills.

Here we go:

1. Go to Multiplayer > Arsenal > Avatars
2. Choose "Deathmatch" and make sure "SPP" is selected.

*Note from Gregor Lenko (Thanks for improving!)
The Avatar called "SPP" you need to select is within the Deathmatch Avatars found at the bottom of the Avatar Menu. (So you need to scroll down to find it.)

Now simply play some DEATHMATCH (Important: NOT Team-Deathmatch!) and start killing. It does not have to be on any of the new Maps. Every Map works fine!

Please note:
I've unlocked the Achievement AFTER the Round has ended (when you first see the Summary Screen). So I would suggest that you fully complete every Deathmatch-Game, to make sure that your Kills do count!

Yes, it works... At first, I made the mistake to not go into the Deathmatch specific avatar.

Make sure you play Deathmatch, not Team-Deathmatch. When you are still having problems, try to restart the Game and/or your Console, maybe it's a bug or so.

I can 100% confirm that this works. Got the cheevo this way.

I've done this method and got well over 100 kills (got the regular kill 100 players achievement) but this stil hasn't popped. Any ideas?

I got it! I *think* it starts counting the 100 kills after you've finished the initial training grinds and unlock all the rest of the grinds. As soon as I got the non-training related "kill 100 enemies" grind it popped. Thanks for the help!

Make sure you play DEATHMATCH, not Team-Deathmatch or something else. Try to reselect the SPP Guy in the Menu and make sure the Game saves your choose.

When you are still having problems, try to restart the Game and/or your Console. Maybe it's a bug.

Thumbs up from me, perhaps put a note to clarify that the SPP avatar you need to select is within the Deathmatch Avatars found at the bottom of the Avatar menu.

I know it should be clear enough from your instructions but I didn't realise this sub menu existed until I scrolled down to the bottom.

Hm. That's strange, but i would suggest you first check if:

1. You selected "SPP" as your Avatar
2. Make sure you play DEATHMATCH nothing else

And as mentioned in my guide you should always fully complete your DEATHMATCHES just to be safe, because i got the Achievement after the Round. Maybe you lost some kills during disconnects etc.

So with this in mind, I would try to go for some more Deathmatches to unlock this cheevo.

I really hope I could help you a bit and that you unlock it soon.

The SPP is the Sau Paulo Police faction that play as on a random basis through multiplayer game modes. You simple need to get 100 kills while playing as this faction and a guaranteed way to always play as them is to go to your multiplayer Arsenal and select Avatars, then pick a game mode (e.g. Deathmatch) and select SPP. Now when you play Deathmatch online you will always be on the SPP team so start killing!

First, create a character for the police (face, clothes, etc.). Then in the “Character for shootout” column, under the selection of characters, select “Sao Paulo Police” and go play a shootout. There you don’t have to be afraid that you will play for Krach Preto or someone else. If you play as the police in a shootout, then kills count the same. On average, 10-15 kills are done quietly in one shootout. So after 8-9 games the trophy is yours.

The easiest in this game.
