Before going for this achievement, I went to Customize from the main menu and adjusted all offensive players to 99 in each category to give my team the best possible advantage.
2 Controller Method
Main Profile (Offense) - Passing Plays: 361 Cardinal
Secondary Profile (Defense) - Pass Prevent: Sackville
You want to start your offensive drive with as much field in front of you as possible. To do this, use your secondary controller and punt the ball to yourself, and run out of bounds near your own endzone.
Using your secondary controller, choose to control the defensive player that is in front of the "B" button receiver. Using your main controller, snap the ball and throw the ball to B when he gets wide open. After making the catch, you should be able to sprint down the field (using A), all the way to the endzone.

done this achievement 2 times with no luck,had enough yards but no achievement

had to uninstall then reinstall. to get this 1 to pop.

713 passing yards is a lot but with your team's stats at maximum and the opposition's stats lowered, you should be completing passes fairly easily. I found that using the Allstate passing play seem to work best - it is on the first page of the passing plays and is selected by pressing 
. There was always at least 1 open receiver and I got fairly good yardage most times.
