In the stoneage stage high five the first caveman before running away from the sabeltooth cat. Then when you run from the sabeltooth cat make sure to wait for the caveman to pass you so when you jump at the last jump to grab his hand he will high five you.

I got this during when xbox was having achievement issues so had to go back to do it but your description is correct but would be better if you include the level so that it makes it easier for people to know. It's 3-A level 4

I couldn’t get this to pop, as it would always end with a save animation, until I realized that I had to dance with the caveman on the left at the beginning, after the lightning strikes the “Gameboy.” Immediately worked and achievement unlocked.

exactly, dance with the left caveman, worship the gameboy, run right, wait for the left caveman to pass you, then jump up and run into his harms <3

I had to wait a little till the caveman was off scene a bit on the skinny ledge to get it to work for me.
