Thank you for the link. I don't see why more games don't break down how far you have progressed towards each achievement. Left 4 Dead did that, but more should do it as well. It's nice being able to see how many more wins/ kills/ etc. I need before the achievement pops.

You can also go to Stats and Awards, go to the AWARDS tab and go to the medal on the bottom right.

The "Top Performance Medal" requires you to finish in the 'Top 3' fifteen times, and shows a counter underneath of how many times you've done it.

Excellent link, but I would change your solution a bit since you have to be in the top 3 (combined) and not the top 10.

I found this easiest done on OBJECTIVE RAID, this game mode is so short sometimes they can end withing seconds, my shortest game was 18 seconds. I have been top 3 around 30 times playing this game mode, the trick is to basically go straight for the objective and make sure to take out anyone in yoru path or at leats get a kill or 2 incase you don't blow it up, I used the Spec Ops class, good luck.

just a quick note if you want to know how many times you have come in the top 3 , you can go to stats and awards in multiplayer press rb to go to awards then you want to be looking at the bottom right medal which shows you how many times you have placed in the top 3.

Please note, from my experience and reading about you have finish top three OVERALL. The game gives two different leaderboards, one for each team, you have to be top in both combined to get one count towards this cheesemint. Objective Raid offers the quickest path to ascension given the short gameplay and camping on Objectives opportunities.

First of all: you need to be in the top 3 overall and not just your team. You can check your progress at the medal screen under stats in the bottom right corner, where you can get a medal for doing it 15 times.

As for strategy: Yeah, yeah, yeah you can just camp in an easy position but I hate campers and refuse to use any kind of tactic revolving around sitting in the same spot for ten minutes.

So I just used my rush-tactic like in every shooter I play :D

The important part is, that it doesn't matter how often you die. My Kill/Death ratio is terrible but I still get around 400-500 points per game which is enough in most cases to be in the top three.

The most important thing you want to use is the defensive support. The hardest part is getting to 50 points. I can assure that you don't need to camp and just can run around. After you played the maps a few times you will know where most people hide and will also earn badges.

After you hit the 50 points, don't use it. You get 25 points for using it, so you need at least another 25 points to get to the next tier. If you die, you will still have the support available. So now you only have to get 25 points, which is one normal and one melee/headshot/revenge/savier kill. Then use the defensive support to get to 50, which earns you another support.

With this tactic I had no problem finishing in the top 3. Don't be encouraged if you fail. You will evantually get it. Just wanted to post a solution that doesn't involve a cheap tactic ;P

You must be in the top 3 of the scoreboard a total of 10 times. The best way to do this is to earn streaks, and capture/destroy objectives. If you are not good at FPS games, then I would recommend playing an objective game and go for the objectives. If you are good at FPS games, I would still recommend going for the objectives, unless it is too risky and you might die, resulting in losing your streak. When you get a Killstreak Reward, your safest option to get the most points you can get in a game is to choose the Defensive Support Streak by pressing . If there are many enemies beside each other and you know how to use the Offensive Support Streaks properly, then use that instead by pressing . Earning and using Killstreak Rewards is the best way to get in the top 3 of the scoreboard. Good luck!

Place top 3 on the scoreboard for 10 matches.
May take some time, especially now since the online community is much smaller and limited game modes. However that said it's also easier in a way since if you end up in a game of 6 you only have to beat 3 other players in score.
Easier in a mode with objectives to get score and also use defensive streaks over offensive for guaranteeing yourself more points as fast as possible. That said good luck
*MUST BE TOP 3 OVERALL NOT JUST YOUR TEAM FOR TROPHY TO COUNT*

UNOBTAINABLE DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

You need to be the Overall Top 3 in a match 10 times to obtain this trophy. Multiplayer experiences vary from individual to individual, but in my experience any objective based match like Sector Control, Combat Mission and Objective Raid is easier to do this because you get points for completing objectives and it doesn't turn into a mindless kill-fest or K/D ratio centered game like Team Deathmatch. You can track your progress in your Stats screen under the Awards tab. On the lower right there is a medal that is awarded for achieving Overall Top 3 fifteen times, and a counter on the screen below showing your progress towards it so far.

At the end of the round, you must be in the top three in the match's points statistics, and you must also outscore the enemy team. The best way to get into the top three is to use offensive support, so if you hit a cluster of enemies you will be awarded a lot of points. Statistics can be viewed in the awards, the lowest medal on the right is called “For Outstanding Efficiency”.
