Support Points are any points you get from using defensive or offensive support actions. NOT the points that add up to each action.

The easiest way to grab this achievement is to play CTF. Lurk around the enemy controlled flags and pick off enough enemies to trigger a support action then hit RIGHT to use the defensive one since it offers guaranteed points and helps you get to the next highest support action quicker. Keep using the defensive action on each successful chain. You should be able to average 200 points a match so you'll get it within your first 6 to 10 games.

If you make it to the third level for support action you may want to disregard my advice at first and use the missile strike to grab that achievement as well.

To clarify its 1000 points career wide. Not all in one match.

So how does the scoring work? How much are the offensive points worth?

dO U GET ANY SUPPORT ACTION POINT WITHOUT TRIGGERING A SUPPORT ACTION IN THE GAME?? I KNOW THAT SOUNDS STUPID BUT AM STRUGGLING ONLINE PLAY SO JUST WONDERING IF EVENTUALLY I WILL GET THIS JUST PLAYING ONLINE MODES?? I JUST HAVE A HARD TIME SEEING THEM BEFORE I GET KILLED IT'S AN AGE THING THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!

Go to http://moh.statsverse.com/

Select "Xbox 360" then search for your gamertag. Then select the achievements tab.

Scroll down and you will see your progress for all achievements, including this one.

Halo Reach definitely does it. Go to Bungi and you can check all your reach stats there. They have some halo 3 stats, but not nearly as in depth as the Reach stats.

confused, got 46/50 achievements and like rank eight in all classes but still dont have this achievement. must of had used so many defensive and offense attacks but nothin. can anyone help?

You obtain support points by using Offensive Support Actions to kill enemies, or using Defensive Support Actions to assist your team with temporary upgrades. Defensive support actions will always give out guaranteed points so it is best to keep using them instead of Offensive Support Action if you want this trophy fast. The points count total is cumulative and doesn't have to be in one session.

You must achieve 1000 support points throughout your multiplayer career. You gain support points by calling in Defensive Support Actions or Offensive Support Actions. Calling in a Defensive Support Action () will help your whole team by giving them an advantage, and you get your support points right away. Calling in a offensive Support Action will help you get kills. Depending on the amount of kills you get, that is how many support points you will earn. I would recommend calling in Defensive Support Actions for this achievement.
