Just run to the campfire at each white name on the map, I started to talk to the npc's sitting at the campfire but I don't think it was needed, just run through the town.

Yes, all you have to do for a fast one on this is Customize game turn off stamina and food, etc. and then run to each village campfire to it will activate.
