How to unlock the The Dynasty Continues achievement in Medieval Dynasty - Definitive Guide
I tried to write this with the style that anybody with zero knowledge of the game could get this achievement easily. With that in mind;
TIME NEEDED
For those simply looking for a time guage... A complete in game day lasts for roughly 35 minutes. The earliest you can sleep is 24 minutes in.
A year, set to 1 day seasons, thus lasts no shorter than 96 minutes IRL, or just over an hour and a half... meaning your child, from 0 to the playable age of 18, requires 28.8 hours of IRL time. You can easily do all other achievements before this.
Math out of the way, heres info for those curious/lost.
ROMANCE
You need to romance a female villager. Recruitable villagers are found around campfires in villages. They require a house, and want a job. They dont even need to be ACTIVE. Near the end of my game my storehouses were full, my collection villagers couldnt work, but their mood stayed the same.
When romance reaches 100% you can propose to your chosen wife. Certain personalities like certain gifts (though most any gift raises affection) and dialogue, so the tier 1 skill "Romeo" under diplomacy makes this much easier. Its trial and error what to say but for example, a "free spirit" woman doesnt like hearing she has an amazing work ethic, a "busy bee" woman does.
When married your spouse moves in with you. Talking again lets you bring up children, prompting them to tell you to meet them at night.
Pregnancy lasts 3 seasons, with birth occuring on the 4th. After, she will care for the child, being unable to work for 2 years.
MOOD AFTER BIRTH
Your wifes mood and affection are important as if they go too low, she leaves the village WITH your child.
Keeping her fed (easy with no food requirements), interacting with her (talking) and/or giving her a gift every few seasons, and occasionally doing any quests she herself gives is enough to keep affection maxed. My wifes mood never dropped below 74%.
Gifts are sold at special vendors who appear at a random tavern (even one you build), their location changing by season. Gifts can also rarely be found in the wild at camps/overturned carts.
KID FACTS
Your child will have stats that, to the best of my knowledge, seem to be a mix of their parents. With my maxed stats and his mothers mix, my son had (from left to right via management page)
9 7 7 6 6 6 when he took over.
You switch to your heir either by asking him to take over at/over 18, or if you die and he is at least 18.
Kids also have affection, raised by toy swords/ragdoll gifts, or by quests as well.
Toy swords are found at blacksmiths, ragdolls at seamstresses.
A life event at age 7 had me cut my childs hair and take him on a hunt, which seemed to shape his personality.
My sons affection and mood thus stayed high like his mothers.
In short this achievement is by no means hard, it just requires a lot of waiting. I had literal hours of idle time. I will willingly answer any questions or add to this guide as needed.
Persevere however, and this is easy. Just very boring.
Happy hunting (>*_*)>

These are the four solutions I'd have for that, though I can't guarentee success. I'm racking my brain as I hadn't encountered any save file issues;
1. Try deleting your local save and hope the cloud backup is fine, doable under the manage game tab from the xbox menu.
2. Try deleting saves from the game menu, keeping your most recent and perhaps one more, and try to save on a fresh file then.
You could also try loading an earlier save, and try saving with that one (to see if you have a corrupt save)
3. Essentially, doing the above but starting the game over, deleting your save from everywhere (If you can prove the save file itself is corrupt, though I would not recommend this if you can get around it, it would start hella grind over again)
4. If any or all else fails and you truly wish to keep going with this file, no saving, just running from start to finish from where you are, you would be looking at 12 hours roughly of game activity to reach age 18. The issue here being if your game crashes for any reason, you will lose all that progress.
I will look for any info on the web I can find, but again this never happened to me so I don't have a surefire way of getting this problem over with atm.

If this is your last achievement (like me) and you have no clue what to do or just want the 100% you can do this AFK while you sleep or watching Netflix and Co.
-Set the villager needs to 0%
-hunger and thirst off
-seasons to 1 day
To make your controller NOT turn off :
-take out the batteries or charge kit
-put the controller on a USB charge kable which is connected to the xbox! (not to a power outlet)
-go to your xbox settings - > power/economy settings - > Set 'turn off automatically' to don't turn off
And then you can let it run over night or doing other stuff. You can make a save before that just in case if you die for a reason.

This guide was translated automatically.
The son must be 18 years old.
After which you can talk to him and transfer control of the village to him, after which the GG will become an NPC.

In the season when you conceived a child (your wife becomes pregnant), immediately change the duration of the season to 1 day.
1 day in the game = 1 hour. If you sleep, you only need to play half a day = 30 minutes.
A child is born for 3 seasons + 72 seasons for growing up to 18 years. 75 seasons = 37.5 hours
There is no option to skip time in the current version of the game.
Leaving the game so that the days/seasons change automatically and going about your business will also not work - Randomly, when the season changes, a window with a settlement event may appear, which pauses the game until one or another option is selected. Events related to the child also appear - on the seventh birthday, when the season changes, an event of growing up appears.
