Right at the end of the Protectosphere course in Magma City you'll see a cut scene with the Chargeball Champ smacking some Robots around with his charge glove.
At the end of this scene you are obligated to play him in charge ball, you just have to beat him 3 times & the achievement is yours.

If you feel it isn't going well, you can restart without penalty, but if you fail entirely you'll need another playthrough
