A slightly more accurate description would have been "Craft 100 Items." This could be done in a single trip to the Hardware Advisor if you have the parts to spend.

The Hardware Advisor allows you to craft Blast Grenades for 10 parts each, or 10 at once for 100 parts (the blue currency). Crafting 10 at once counts as 10% progression on this achievement, so do that 10 times (1000 parts total cost) and this achievement will unlock.

This achievement is cumulative so it does not have to be done all at once.

FYI - It is possible to have a stockpile of over 100 grenades, so if you happen to have 1000 parts to spare and do want to go for it all at once, go for it. Nothing is lost / wasted.
