How to unlock the HARD ROCK achievement in MEGA MAN 10 - Definitive Guide
Thanks to KMetalmind for this tip: Another good stage is the Commando Man one. If you take the upper path, it should be easy to finish the game without getting hit. The only enemies who usually can make you lose are the Mets (enemies that hide in their hat and shoot at you). If you are careful with the bombs and with the bugs, it´s a piece of cake :)
For those who bought DLC, use the character Bass to battle through the stage along the top path. Shoot up to take out the green flying enemies before they shoot mines. Shoot the enemies with helmets that bury themselves in the ground at point-blank range holding down Bass' gun even while it's buried, so that it pops up to run into your gunfire. Bass makes short work of the level and this is the easiest method for earning this achievement.
This trophy will also unlock when you attain the MR. PERFECT trophy. In my opinion, the easiest level to attempt this on is Pump Man's stage: there are no enemies that shoot projectiles at you that will damage you and there is no mid-level boss. Just enter the boss's room and the trophy will pop before the fight starts. You can also try for this in a level AFTER you've beaten a boss before (with no boss fight). You can earn this trophy by playing as either Mega Man, Protoman or Bass.
If you are working towards "Mr. Perfect" you will earn this on that attempt. If you are trying to attempt this achievement try to do it on a level you know fairly well. The more you know about the level and the location of most enemies will help tremendously.
After Playing the levels, it seems like Pump Man is the easiest. Just make sure you take the bottom route. There is barely any enemies, and the only real threat is a few shrimp and bubbles. You just need to take it slow and run through the levels a few times so you know where the enemies are. If Pump Man doesn't work for you definitely pick a level without an annoying sub-boss.
