When fighting Flame Mammoth, blast him a few times with the Boomerang Cutter (obtained by defeating Boomer Kuwanger) until his nose falls off. You may have to fight the bosses out of order (sort of) to get this, or you could get this during the end game boss rush.

Or use a password - there are multiple generators on the net - to start with the Boomerang Cutter, then go through Flame Mammoth's stage.

The only requirement for this trophy is beating Boomer Kuwanger before going to Flame Mammoth's stage. Once you get to Flame Mammoth, simply equip the cutter weapon and just attack Flame Mammoth until his trunk falls off and the trophy will pop a few seconds after.

Use the Boomerang Cutter weapon earned from Boomer Kuwanger on Flame Mammoth to cut off his trunk. This can be done either on the first time or second time you fight him. Just keep hitting him with the Boomerang Cutter. After the third or so time his trunk will be severed. Without his trunk, he will not be able to spit oil out at you.
Similarly, this same trick also works on Launch Octopus, which removes some of his arms and negates his health-draining attack.
