Helmet Upgrade, Crystal Snail’s stage: after the mini-boss, when you come to the large chasm, slide down the left wall to find the capsule
Arm Upgrade, Wheel Gator’s stage (requires air-dash): early in the stage, before dropping down a hole there is a hole in the ceiling which can only be reached with an air-dash.
Chest Upgrade, Morph Moth’s stage (requires Spin Wheel): near the beginning of the level, after you enter the building with junk floating towards the ceiling. Right after the orange column you walk behind before jumping up to the next platform with 2 steps, there. Is an empty space on the floor not covered with junk. Use the Spin Wheel to cut a hole in the floor leading down to the capsule.
Leg Upgrade, Overdrive Ostrich’s stage (requires Spin Wheel): at the end of the hover bike segment, right below the heart container. Use the Spin Wheel to cut through the dark blocks on the right to reach the capsule.

Here's a passcode that will start you off with everything but the arm upgrade. It'll take less than a minute going through Wheel Gator's stage to get the arm part.

The four armor parts are in the following stages:
Overdrive Ostrich- You will find the leg parts here. Right after the part with the speeder bikes and the heart tank, there is a wall you can use Spin Wheel on. You receive Spin Wheel from beating Wheel Gator.
Wheel Gator- You will find the upgrade for the X Buster here and you will need the leg parts. Right after entering the Dinosaur Tank, you will see an area that goes up and a hole to jump down. Use the boots to dash toward the wall and climb up.
Morph Moth- The armor upgrade is here, and you need the Spin Wheel. There is a hidden floor right after the first magnet room with orange supports in the foreground.

There are four armor capsules in Mega Man X2, each granting X an upgrade part.
The armor capsules are located in the following areas:
- Foot Parts: Located in Overdrive Ostrich’s stage. Near the end, immediately after the heart tank, there are some faux blocks that can be destroyed with the Spin Wheel. Dash jump over there, break in and reach the capsule.
- Body Parts: Located in Morph Moth’s stage. Right after you enter the building at the beginning, you’ll walk past some junk. On the first gray floor, use the Spin Wheel to break through the floor. Below this area is the capsule.
- Head Parts: Located in Crystal Snail's stage. Right after fighting the Magna Quartz mini boss, slide down the slippery slope. Slide down the left wall into the pitfall to a small corridor on the left with the capsule.
- Arm Parts: Located in Wheel Gator’s stage. Shortly after getting inside the tank, you’ll notice an opening in the ceiling. You need the foot parts to be able to air dash over to it.
