The Secret Achievement achievement in Melty Blood: Type Lumina worth 291 pointsContinue playing to unlock this secret achievement

This achievement is granted for obtaining a "clear rate" of 100% using any individual character under Single Play mode. In order to reach 100% in Single Play with a character, the following conditions must be met while playing as him or her:

☾ Complete Story Mode on Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulties
☾ Clear Score Attack on Easy, Normal, and Hard with an S-Rank
☾ Clear Time Attack on Easy, Normal, and Hard with an S-Rank
☾ Clear Survival on Easy, Normal, and Hard with an S-Rank
☾ Complete all 27 combo challenges from Mission Mode

Once you have completed the objectives above, you should now be at 100% clear rate with that character and the achievement will unlock. Listed below in the spoiler is a breakdown of particular modes and how to obtain an S-Rank in them:

Note: S-Rank number value requirements are NOT the actual cutoff point but rather a general figure to consult. Feel free to post in the comments your scores to help in achieving a concrete cutoff number for future players to follow.

Score Attack
In this mode, you will compete for the highest score in a regulation battle. Utilizing Rapid Beat combos and hitting your Arc Drive super on opponents should suffice in most battles. The exact numbers are not yet confirmed, but achieving a score of around 285,000 - 320,000 across Easy, Normal, and Hard should be enough to secure the S-Rank each time. Score requirements may vary for each difficulty.

Time Attack
Compete for the fastest clear time in a series of regulation battles under this mode. Defeat enemies as quickly as possible and try to avoid losing a round to save time. Defeating all opponents in under 15 minutes should easily net you the S-Rank each time.

Survival
Compete for the longest win streak with a limited amount of life. This mode only ends once you are knocked out. If you're struggling to get a high win streak, there are some gameplay mechanics that you can make use of.

By holding

, you can perform a Moon Charge. This will recharge your Magic Circuit meter. More importantly, charging your magic circuit will allow you to use Blood Heat Mode (

). This will replenish your life gauge in the process. Use this to your advantage if you find yourself in low health. Winning 20 straight battles in Survival will be enough to obtain an S-Rank. Once your reach 20 straight wins, allow yourself to be defeated to obtain your rank.

Mission
Here you can try your hand at the various combos set for each character. Combo challenges are broken up into 4 categories: Novice, Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert. There are 27 challenges in all. You can press

to see a demo of each challenge. If you're struggling with a combo challenge, try to avoid button mashing and allowing move animations to finish before inputting the next. Also, you can press

and change the Battle Speed to as low as 30% to help you hit tougher links. For notations, if you see "jc" that means a jump cancel is required and if you see "dl" this means that the input is a delayed link.

For the most part, the entire roster's combo challenges are distinctly similar (with only a few variations) so there doesn't appear to be a character with the easiest missions to pull off. They are all about the same in difficulty. Obviously there is no S-Rank requirement for this mode; simply inputting each of the 27 combo challenges successfully will work towards the 100% clear rate for that character.

S rank for Score Attack is fairly lenient. I got around 320k on Hard and it was still enough. You'll ideally want to clear all ten fights though.

While the other guide posted is great, a far easier method of getting this achievement is available. Play through Arcueid's story to unlock her B story all you need to do is beat this on Easy, Normal, and Hard and you will have a 100% clear rate on Arcueid B unlocking you this otherwise grind of an achievement good hunting!

Thank you for this. I was stuck on score attack and the last few missions otherwise, but this method was very fast and easy.

For most characters, this means doing all missions, story mode on all difficulties, and getting S Ranks on survivor, time attack, and score attack for all difficulties.

But if you complete enough of the story to have unlocked Arcuid B, you can just run through that on all three difficulties.
