How to unlock the Combo Master achievement in Merge & Blade - Definitive Guide

This achievement requires that you make a combo of at least x5, and will not unlock by making five simultaneous matches by moving units around during the battle phase.
Whilst some players may get lucky and unlock this naturally through playing, I was never able to.
Instead, I was able to find a reliable method of forcing the combo. In order to begin, you will need at least a Level 04 Boot Camp. This will allow you to have access to five unique units from the first round. The goal is to fill the screen, with Archers towards the bottom left, Farmers at the top right and Blacksmiths, Footmen and Rogues spread out between them.
You should avoid making any unnecessary matches and instead aim to have a full screen of units that you can then move into position during the battle phase. The goal is to create a cascading effect that will have the Farmers ultimately merge into a Priest. You will also want to make sure that no other merges other than your main combo take place, as this could disrupt your planned path to the Priest.
In the video above, I show the setup I had when I unlocked the achievement. As you will notice at the start of the clip, I had a unit selected to give me time to work out how the cascade would work. As time doesn't advance when you are in the process of swapping units around, this gives you plenty of time to plan your approach.
I also moved the farmers into position before the video started. Everything else, however, was already in position before the round started.
I used the Easy Defence mission for this, but any low-level chapter will also work as you want an area where the enemy is weak enough that they are incapable of killing your Farmers, but also where the battle will last just long enough to get your units into position.
