This will most likely be the first achievement that you earn and should happen during the tutorial levels.
First you need to unlock this troop by upgrading the Academy to level 2 which costs 0 gold.
You then need to upgrade lower level troops by matching 3 or more similar types.
To get to a Rogue the matches you would need to make are Farmer – Blacksmith – Footman – Rogue.
