This mode is under Roguelike, where it is called "Night of Battle". This mode is a lot like Mineral Mine. You get one set up phase only, with as many turns as you can manage. There are 15 rounds, but you only need to beat 10 to get the achievement.
For this I used the Hero character, placed front and centre immediately. He levels up in battle which means he's just as strong without the puzzle phase. Getting enough matches to get spearmen and a sprinkling of priests on the field should be enough to get the achievement.
