How to unlock the There is no ground!!! achievement in METAGAL - Definitive Guide

This can be done on the GAL.01 SHIELD stage right after the tutorial. About two screens over there will be a pit you can fall / jump into.

If this is your first death you will also unlock:
METAGALFirst TimerThe First Timer achievement in METAGAL worth 90 pointsDie for the first time.

You need to fall in the level. I recommend stage GAL01 after the checkpoint in midboss. Fall in the first hole.

Pretty straight forward. Simply fall to you death to get this trophy.

This trophy is earned by falling into a pitfall. There is an easy pitfall to reach at the beginning of GAL.03 BUSTER's stage if you haven't earned it elsewhere.

As the description kind of says, you need to die by falling in a pit. There aren't any in the tutorial level, but in the first level, Shield Gal, there is a pit very shortly after the level starts. You may fall in a pit inadvertently while trying to complete the level, but feel free to jump in the first one to unlock this achievement.
