How to unlock the Demilitarized Zone achievement in METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE - Definitive Guide
This method is for anyone who wants to farm the kills. Also, this achievement can be done through multiple playthroughs.
Heavily Armed Cyborgs are largest tier of the humanoid cyborgs. They almost look like they are wearing a bomb suit and carry a huge hammer.
They can easily be farmed in R-07. There are 4 of them total. I just equipped wig B and blazed through the gate, outside of the hanger and inside of the hanger. When all enemies where dead I simply hit restart and did the outside/inside of the hanger again. Rinse and repeat. I never went past the hanger. With wig B you have unlimited ripper mode and can kill these guys in seconds so the grind is very quick and easy.
I obtained Wig B by completing the game on normal while also collecting every collectible, chopping off arms, etc..
You can also farm kills for the custom cyborgs as well. There are 6 I believe.
Hope this helps.

Do I have to finish the chapter before it unlocks?

The "Heavily Armed Cyborgs" are the ones with the giant hammers.
Playing the game on multiple playthroughs will eventually net you this trophy, however if you just want it out of the way, go to File 07, and play until the MG Excelsus fight. There are 5 hammer cyborgs before you get to that checkpoint.
After the game saves, go back to the title, select File 07 again, and simply rinse and repeat. It takes a few moments to runthrough the level (especially if you have Wig B and Custom Body Red ) and even if you did not pick off a lot of these guys during your first few playthroughs, you can easily grind them out in under 30 minutes (an hour tops).

Once you've collected all left arm data packages you get the armor breaker. It has the ability to destroy armor, which is boosted but additional upgrades. Now go to R-07 and farm the hanger like me. Enjoy the kills and a quick and easy 15 G. Once that's done, you can complete your Hard playthrough, unlocking achievements along the way for defeating all the bosses, except for Ray and Wolf, on Hard. At the end, if you've collected all of the enemy officers' left arms, you'll unlock infinite Wig C, which boost blade mode to the point where it's like a refined armor breaker. You'll literally cut through basically anything. This should also unlock Wigs B and A, which give you cellular energy for Ripper Mode and unlimited sub-weapon ammo. Your Hard playthrough should unlock the other two wigs as well as Wig C. I'm pretty sure about that. Another normal playthrough is just asking for extra. Extra time playing this game. I'm fine with that, but with the difficulty and finesse needed to get through Hard, I'm sure it most certainly stacks. You also need these Wigs to unlock the following achievement for purchasing all customization items:
So yeah. Once you get the wigs, you'll unlock that one too. Then, with Wig B or either of the other two if you're fine with that, you can blaze through your Reveangance playthrough and grab this big achievement, assuming you S-rank all of the battles.:
Reveangance is unique. as the word implies, you'll be furiously responding to enemy movements and attacks. Using this pattern, you'll probably naturally end up picking up extra dialogue lines from characters involved in the story, getting you closer to unlocking this other big achievement:
With all of these tips, the VR missions will also be a piece of cake. You're probably a pro, having played this game or at least these kinds of games like an engineer for so long. Plus when you're going for the highest score it's easier to focus on those tough enemies and situations.
The Ich Liebe Kapitalismus! achievement in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance worth 186 pointsAcquire all customization items.

I found this fairly easy to do after following it on other true achievement sites. For this achievement, it requires the player to destroy 100 heavily armored cyborgs in story mode.
What I had done is get a decently good sword, and put it on easy to kill them quicker. Also used Infinity Wig B to make the process even faster. Red body armor also helps, for easier stealth options.
Go to File R-07. After defeating the enemies outside of the gate, head inside and defeat all of the heavy armor cyborgs (cyborgs with hammers and big armor), both outside the hangar and inside the hangar. Although other guides I have found said not to, you can go PAST the hangar after defeating the enemies in said hangar. this is the last available cyborg you can kill per run of this area. The enemy is after the gate with the security cameras and outside the hangar with three other guards (one being on a catwalk above).
This amounts to a total of 5 heavy armored cyborgs per run. And so, here's where the farming part comes in.
As you may have guessed, it is going to be painstakingly long because is 100 of these enemies. The only way to really cut time off of this is playing through the game multiple times for other achievements, where you may encounter these enemies (for example, in R-03 on the rooftop). What you can do is instead of restarting the mission or exiting to title, go to the customization screen on your codex. Once you have loaded into the customization menu, exit out of the menu, and back into story mode. What this will do is allow you to respawn back at the first checkpoint (the gate), after you have defeated the guards at the very beginning, which also saves your progress. This allows you to do a run through of the area again, with every enemy respawned (excluding the first battle at the very beginning right before the checkpoint).
I am fairly sure that the kills won't count unless your progress was saved, thats why going to customization in the codec is important. Just to be safe, I would NOT choose the restart or title option, but instead customization. Once you have done so, rinse and repeat until it pops.
TL:DR; Go to R-07, proceed into the area just outside of the hangar and kill all hammer-wielding cyborgs. Then, go into the hangar and do the same. Finally, go past that area one more time and kill the last one that is talking to the two guards outside, right before encountering the cutscene that triggers the boss. Again, this amounts to 5 kills. Do a re-run of the area by entering and exiting the customization menu via the codec.
During the last run (obviously you wouldn't know if it would be your last run or not) you will get the achievement DURING THE MISSION, NOT AFTERWARDS OR BY COMPLETING THE MISSION. Immediately after killing your last cyborg, it will pop.

This trophy is relatively easy to obtain but can require some effort as these enemies are not common, even on the higher difficulties. The Heavily Armored Cyborgs are the ones wielding war hammers and require a lot of damage before you can Zandatsu them. This trophy can take several playthroughs or can be grinded in specific areas.
The best place to grind this is in File R-07. After destroying the guards outside the gate, go further into the base and kill all the heavies, then press and go to your customization menu. This will save your kills and then start you back outside the gate. Repeat this process until this trophy pops.

Heavy Cyborgs are larger humanoid enemies that carry around a massive hammer. There are four of them in the R07 hangar sequence.

File R-07 is a good place to farm these guys (these are cyborgs with a hammer, if anyone doesn’t know). After you’ve dealt with the guards at the gate, you will get to the base, in my opinion there are 3-4 of them hanging around. You kill them secretly (there will be less fuss), then we restart from the checkpoint and repeat until the bitter end.
