How to unlock the Ich Liebe Kapitalismus! achievement in METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE - Definitive Guide

It is possible to farm a 5000 BP chest during File R-01 in the area with Ferris wheel, but I stumbled upon a ridiculously easier place to farm.

During File R-05, before leaving the finish area in the place to the left with the VR Terminal that opens when a soldier exits it there is a 5000 BP chest. In the same room a battle is triggered and after defeating the enemy a checkpoint is triggered. After the checkpoint you can open the chest, save, reload and it will re-spawn. Unlike the far away chest of File R-01 you reload right next to the chest dramatically reducing farming time.

By far the best farming method, since the level itself is so short anyway if you breeze through it with Infinite Wig B and maxed out sword

You might wanna add that you can manually save by talking to Courtney in the Back/Codec screen. I'm sure there's other people who didn't know/forget that....

A much faster way is to open the chest then press back and select customize, then leave the customize menu and you will reload ready to open the chest again. No need to call Courtney or return to title each time, on series X I'm getting almost 150k BP every 10 minutes.

I unlocked this achievement this evening. It should show up in the next scan of my profile.

You unlock this achievement for purchasing all of the customisation items available in the "Customise" menu of the game. Simply press Back, then go to Customise on the menu that comes up.

A few things to note about this achievement.

1.) You do NOT need to upgrade every item - only purchase them. When it unlocked for me, I had several "enhancements" yet to be purchased for some of my weapons and it still unlocked.

2.) Downloadable content weapons and costumes do not count. I have about three suits sitting in my customisation menu which have yet to be purchased. This achievement still unlocked.

3.) Purchasing your last item alone is not enough to unlock the achievement. Following your final item, you must back out into the main Customisation screen (It lists "Body, Main Weapon, Unique Weapon, Wig etc.") and then it will unlock.

Just to make it 100% clear, here are the items I purchased when the achievement unlocked.

Are all these available for purchase after one playthrough plus picking up/killing all collectibles?? Or are there other requirements for making some of these available? For example I finished a normal run with all colelctibles and I don't see blade mode wig. Once this is explained I will up vote.

I'm about to start the game. When it says complete the game on hard and collect all ID chips, does that mean on the same playthrough? Or can I collect them all on normal and then do a hard playthrough in which I do not find them all.

Sorry if playing the game makes this obvious.

I can confirm that for unlocking Blade Mode Wig and Standard Body you don't need to clear every chapter on hard mode, from the select chapter screen I played every chapter but the 2nd and unlocked these after the last boss fight (so you probably only need to beat chapter 7)

You can collect them on the same save, so if you collect half on normal and then go to hard you can finish them off.

A WORD OF CAUTION: Do not start a "New Game" if you are looking to change difficulty. Always go to the chapter select and change the difficulty there.

Once you've found all of the Data Drives and MIBS, you get some important items. Respectively, they're the Stun Sword and another costume. For the Wigs, you'll have to find various numbers of enemy officers' left arms and pull off a Normal/elevated unlock, which is described by other guides. Also, for the BP, you'll want to use Isshin Onrefni's BP chest farming locations found in File R-01 and File R-05. Once you have all of the swords and costumes, everything else should be set. Now you just have to buy it. If you've been working on many of the other achievements, you should have lots of BP; more than enough for this achievement and its items.

Customization items are unlocked throughout the story and VR missions. In order to acquire all customization items, you will need to obtain nearly every collectable (except saving people and the humanoid gekkos) and complete every VR mission with the top rank.

DLC weapons do not count - the only items that will unlock this trophy are the items you find in the game.

Also, you do not need to upgrade every item completely - simply purchasing every item in the customize screen will unlock this trophy.

Let's start with the easy unlockables (in order you will naturally receive them):

Custom Body: Unlocks automatically at the start of R-01
Pole-Arm (L'Étranger): Complete File R-01
Mariachi Uniform: Complete File R-02
Tactical Sai (Dystopia): Complete File R-03
Pincer Blades (Bloodlust): Complete File R-04
Custom Body (Desperado Ver.): Complete File R-04
HF Muramasa Blade: Complete the game on any difficulty

Fuel Cells (x5): All become available by the end of the game
Endurance Cells (x4): Same as Fuel Cells
Skills (x14): All become available as you unlock skills and secondary weapons.

As you can see, you unlock quite a bit just playing the actual game. So let's move on to the not-so-easy unlockables, starting with the HF blades:

High-Frequency Machete: Acquire 10 storage devices
Stun Blade: Acquire all 20 storage devices
High-Frequency Wooden Sword: Find all Men in Boxes
Armor Breaker: Acquire all 30 left arms
High-Frequency Long Sword: Complete, and Rank 1st, in 100% (20) VR missions

Once you meet the requirements for the item, finish the mission. The weapon (and trophy if applicable) will unlock at the results screen.

Now, for the different cyborg bodies:

Custom Cyborg Body (Red): Complete 30% (~6) VR missions
Custom Cyborg Body (Blue): Complete 50% (10) VR missions
Custom Cyborg Body (Yellow): Complete 100% (20) VR missions
Standard Body: Complete the game on Hard difficulty
Suit: Complete File R-00 on Very Hard difficulty

Lastly, the wigs:

Infinite Wig A: Complete the game on at least Normal Difficulty and collect 10 left arms.
Infinite Wig B: Complete the game on at least Normal Difficulty and collect 20 left arms.
Blade Mode Wig: Complete the game on at least Hard Difficulty and collect all left arms.

This will most likely be the last if not one of the last achievement you earn in the game. You need to purchase every single item. YOU DO NOT NEED TO UPGRADE EVERYTHING. DLC items do not effect anything. If you need to farm BP, here's a guide on how to do so:

For as easy as this trophy sounds it will require you to perform many actions in the game; clearing all 20 VR Missions in first place, collecting all left arms, finding all men in boxes, finding all data storage devices, clearing the game on hard and Mission R-00 on Very Hard, everything else will be unlocked by simply playing through the game. Once everything is available to be purchased; you simply need to buy every costume, main weapon, alternate weapon, and the upgrades.

Fast farming inside game currency!!! to purchase and improve everything that Xarakiri indicated

We go to chapter R-04, we reach the place where Mistral is waiting for us, in this place Gekko wildly spawns, there 2 taps from each of 3 pieces fall out, we need to fill in combos, trying not to touch Mistral and the main thing is not to lose the combo, in a couple of minutes you can easily farm up to 100k.

And the main thing is, after killing Monsun, immediately press select to the checkpoint and go into the store, everything that was farmed on the bosses will be saved, and after exiting we start from the checkpoint in front of the bosses.

the best and easiest place to farm money is at the beginning of r-02. after killing three big guys, at the very beginning you need to jump into the well, there the dwarf will run away through the tunnel - we run after him and around the bend we kill another dozen of the same ones. then we return to the well and kill the double dwarf with ordinary blows (the humanoid one that is needed for the trophy), for each half of which they will give 5000 bp. open select and go to customiz, and all the money will be saved. then we return to the game and find ourselves at the same point at the well. can be repeated endlessly. in one run you get about 20k of game currency in a couple of minutes - this is much easier than the combo on gekko in chapter 4 on hard or revenge. or here’s the chest as in Aruslanov’s hint, only right at the checkpoint in r-05, one step away from completing the mission - you don’t even need to run anywhere, one lap takes less than half a minute, including loading

the arrow on the radar is the entrance to the checkpoint (don’t forget to first open the VR mission there and kill the bots to save), and the dot is the end of the task.
and don’t be lazy to stuff more. otherwise I was naive and thought that 200-250k would be enough
