How to unlock the You Don't Run from Chance achievement in METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE - Definitive Guide

Mission R-05: Very beginning. Provides an excellent farming location if you do not have this achievement at the end of the campaign (like I did not).

After the initial battle against a few cyborgs, there is a potential un-ranked conflict with 3 patrolling Gekko (bipedal walking creatures). I found that with a fully upgraded polearm, and wearing the Wig B, I was able to initiate the prompt for executions (Y+B) by hitting the Y attack only once with Ripper mode engaged. Beware not to hit them too many times, or the prompt will go away.

After killing all three, you may restart from the pause menu without having to re-kill the initial wave of cyborgs.

Its a rather simple one:
when you attack enemies in a specific order (I mainly get it with the harder Y-attacks) you can start a QuickTime sequence by pressing B and Y at the Same Time, then just slay your enemy.

This Achievement will track at multiple playthroughs, so you can farm it quit easily :3

I found that the execution prompt appears more frequently in Easy mode.

This trophy is simple but may take some work to get. An execution is when you've weakened an enemy and are prompted to press and simultaneously. This will have Raiden perform a finishing move on the enemy that will kill them, though it does offer you a perfect chance to finish them off with a Zandatsu. One small thing to note is you need to have at least one full energy bar to be able to pull off an execution. Simply complete 50 executions and you'll earn this trophy.

Not every enemy behaves the same and they all have different execution cinematics, but the easiest way to get most enemies into a weakened state so you can execute them is by hitting them with a just-defend. You can execute Gekkos by parrying their charge attack as well, this will require you to do a quick-time event to stop them from hitting you, but once it's over you can go immediately into an execution.

Executions are attacks that are prompted by pressing +. They're usually available after an enemy is dazed.

For successful reprisals, you need to block the enemy’s blow at the last moment (left stick towards the enemy + ) for Raiden to counterattack and appear on the screen

It's easier to do it on heavy enemies, because... ordinary people die faster than they can catch reprisals

We just have time to press + when they appear on the screen. This is the so-called execution. And so 50 times
