How to unlock the File R-01: Status - Closed achievement in METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE - Definitive Guide
This is the first chapter of the game after the prologue. This level pretty much gives you a few small tutorials and for the most part, it's a straight forward level. There are however two big fights in this level.
The first major fight is a mini boss fight against LQ-84i (which will be referred to a Blade Wolf from now on). This battle is mostly to get you adjusted to using parry as it'll be one of your most used skills. The Blade Wolf may seem intimidating at first as he seems to be very agile and quick but for the most part, his attacks are easily able to be parried as you will be able to see when he's going to use them. When the battle starts watch for his eyes to glow red and get your parry ready. Chances are he'll either pounce at you or he'll jump into the air and lunge at you. Once he attacks, parry and start attacking him with your own combos and attacks. After you do enough damage (around 40% I believe), he'll summon three Cyborgs to fight you.
After defeating the Cyborgs, the Blade Wolf will keep attacking you and will start throwing in new attacks, such as swiping his tail at you and jumping around you several times before pouncing on you so make sure to rotate the camera to follow him around so you know when to parry. After you take off around 60-70% of his health, he'll summon a Gekko for you to fight.
After taking down the Gekko the Blade Wolf will fight you until the death now. It's important to watch for when he's ready to lunge at you as sometimes he'll pin you to the ground and shove his chainsaw into your body, taking off a considerable amount of damage but as long as you can parry all his attacks and attack when he's staggered, you should be fine.
The second fight is the boss fight of the chapter which is against Mistral. While there is going to be a lot of action going on in this fight, it's actually not a very hard fight. Once the battle begins, immediately Ninja Run at Mistral and start attacking her. After a few hits she'll try to hit you herself so be ready to parry. Take out the Dwarf Gekkos if they're causing problems (you get an achievement for taking out 30 of them so you might as well kill them anyways). As you attack her she'll most likely block you. Keep attacking her and eventually the Zandatsus symbol will appear. When it does switch to Blade Mode and slice her up.
After doing enough damage to Mistral, she'll start charging at you several times with her weapon so keep parrying. She'll eventually grab you and the Zandatsus symbol will appear again. Slice up her arm before she throws you. If you slice her arm enough you'll throw her to the other side of the area. During the second phase of the fight she'll get two new attacks. She'll try to hit you a couple of times, jump into the air and try to divebomb you and she'll swing her arms at you a few times so make sure to parry. If you run at her while she's doing this sometimes you can get underneath her and she'll land behind you, giving you plenty of time to attack her. After doing enough damage she'll throw you to another part of the level.
The third phase of the fight is pretty much the same as the first two except this time she'll constantly charge at you more often several times so you'll need to pay attention to when a red flicker surrounds her and be prepared to guard and counter. She'll occasionally jump on the roof and shoot rockets at you so simply Ninja Run to avoid them. She'll jump back down and continue her assault. Remember that everytime the Zandatsus symbol occurs, switch to Blade Mode and slice her up to take off a good chunk of her health.
After defeating Mistral and the following cutscene, claim your BP from the result screen and the achievement will pop.

This is the award for beating the second stage. It's unmissable. The stage ends with a great fight against Mistral. Honestly it's not a very difficult fight, the big trick in the fight is to kill the dwarf gecko as fast as possible. This will also help you earn the "Looking out for the little guy trophy" Beyond that the fight turns into a very normal fight, make sure to parry her attacks and then beat her down when you get an opening. If you practiced the parry system, it should a be a fast but satisfying fight.
This trophy is storyline related and cannot be missed. This mission requires you to fight Mistral. Make it to the results screen and you'll earn this trophy.
