Never hit off-beat in a Hell

How to unlock the Not Shaken, Nor Stirred achievement in Metal: Hellsinger - Definitive Guide

Update: As mentioned by @ChiflaGoodluck in the comment section this achievement is way easier than it used to be.

Go to options, Acessibility, and mark the last option which will make every move to stay on beat, this means you can play just like any other fps just kill stuff as you wish and you will be awarded with a 100% on beat when you finish the mission.
*This can also help with the 50streak achievement.

--------------------------------

This achievement sounds ridiculous, however there is a very "easy" way to get this achievement without mastering the game. i only suggest that you finish the campaign and all the torments before trying this. Here is how i did it:

*First Choose The first Hell (VOKE) in Lamb Difficulty
*Then in the loadout screen you want to equip the Weapons : "The Hounds" and the "Hellcrow".
*For the Sigils you want: "Last Breath Aegis: III" and "Ultimate Sovereignty: III" both you can unlock doing the torments so make sure to complete them before going for this.

After that you are all set, all you have to do is play the level waiting for the Ultimate of your two weapons to charge thanks to "Ultimate Sovereignty: III", you will only use ultimates in the entire run, you can even do your ultimate off-beat and you will still get the achievement.
The strat that i used was just walking in circles around the area with the enemies while waiting for my ultimates to charge, i highly recommend that you dont try to dash because im pretty sure if you dont dash on beat the achievement will invalidate itself. So just keep walking/jumping and you are good.
The only time i actually play the game properly was to hit or dash towards the green crystals to get some health other than that there is no mistery just try to play safe waiting for the ults to charge. the one thing i strongly recommend is to only use the ultimate from your pistols, and stock the ultimate of the hellcrow just for the "Behemoth" (the big guys)

If you have the patience like i did you will get without any trouble in around 30minutes.

EDIT: If you want to see this strategy in action and learn some extra tips, @Maka91 did an amazing video showing this off:

I am sooo impatient I can't just use the ult... but I never know if I actually missed a beat or not, wish there was a way to know within the UI if you are still at 100% or not. (i know you can tell with the streak loss, but if you get hit you also lose it so sometimes I am not certain).

Edit: Finally did it by clearing the first 4 combat zones with a few attack here and there and resisting not doing any attacks at the boss. this achiev took me the longest out of all of them.

i highly recommend that you dont try to dash because im pretty sure if you dont dash on beat the achievement will invalidate itself.
The achievement description specifically says “never hit off-beat”, not something along the lines of ‘don’t perform any action off-beat’, so you should be safe to dash off-beat.

Dashing off beat counts as a miss. Performing an active reload and missing the gold counts as a miss.

Well good thing I didn’t miss any dashes or reloads on what I thought was my successful run then (it was, I’m just using this wording because I didn’t know that at the time).

If you're interested, I have a video using this strategy which I also came up with, and you're free to use it in your solution. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1uGXsJPPro

Tried to get 100% on a failed mission and torment as well, and those won't unlock there if you want to add those details to your solution, up to you!

Missing the reload only voids the achievement if you try to do the quick reload. If you don't press cn_X during the animation it won't void the achievement.

Just did this and didn’t get it for one reason that should be included. You have to do at least one action on beat. I did the whole thing never hitting or dashing so the end screen said my beats matched were 0%

Just confirming what others have said, you need to get at least one shot on the beat. Just do it on the first enemy. If it registers as "Good" or "Perfect" that is all you need.

If you want to be super safe you can open doors and destroy the crystals with the hellcrows' ultimate. I actually opted for the sigil that gives you a 4x multiplier instead of the last breath one to consistently deal more damage without risking losing a life and all my ultimate charge. I also made sure to shoot the first enemy on beat and the proceeded only using ultimates - as the comments suggested. Thanks for the guide!

Worked like a charm, however I would like to add something. If you go to shoot an enemy and you miss, but you still took your shot on beat then you're still good. I missed multiple shots against the aspect at the end so it didn't pop up with "good" or "perfect", but I still shot on beat and got the achievement.

This just might be the hardest achievement for me of all time. Why? Because I'm so. damn. IMPATIENT.

Might be worth noting that you can still get the achievement even if you have to get resurrected.

It's important to note that you need to fire your gun on beat at least once for the achievement to pop. I somehow managed the whole level using only the ultimates, never fired the gun and on the end stats page it listed my time on beat as 0% with no achievement. On my second run I shot the first enemy I saw on perfect beat, then used just the ultimates and my end stat was 100% and the achieveo popped no problems.

I wished I read the comments too. I did the level without firing the guns, and it didn't unlock.

In case anyone's wondering, you don't need to hit everything perfect, so you don't really need to go through all the struggle of playing the whole level without firing. It only fails if you actually miss the beat.

FYI, game just got an update that includes an auto-beat mode that completely cheeses this, did a test run and the scoreboard gave me 100% Beats Matched despite very blatantly going off-beat consistently (did that just for testing purposes btw, otherwise I’d probably barely notice). Would recommend using that instead of using just the Ultimates to kill everyone.

Edit (26/12/22): Also you can’t notify someone via an @, simply doesn’t work.

Nice tip ChiflaGoodluck, guide should definitely be updated to that.
Used that setting and used hounds, definitely did some actions off beat and it still popped.

Not really worth adding, you’re supposed to do every action in a Hell on-beat for this, not hit a demon with every action in a Hell on-beat.

If you struggle to get this achievement in the normal way, here's a tricky one. How can one never miss a beat? You guessed it right, if the one would never shoot.

Two weapons in the game have an ultimate that kills enemies without player's attention: Hounds that create a shooting clone, and Hellcrows that create a damaging Crowstorm. There's also "Ultimate Sovereignty: III" sigil, which charges your ultimate automatically, 1% per beat. That allows you to potentially clear the whole level without shooting once. You don't even have to use your ultimate on beat, the game would count ultimate kills as perfect ones in any case.

Enter the first Hell (Voke) on Lamb difficulty. I haven't tested if beating the level without literally shooting once would suffice, so you'd better kill the first enemy. Ignore the rest and head on to the first arena. Keep in mind to never use dash, because the achievement requires you to dash on beat, too, and there's no point in taking extra risks. Running and jumping is okay.

While at arena, keep on running in circles with Hellcrows. Once your ultimate is ready, use it and start running in the opposite direction. After the third arena wait for your Hounds ultimate to be ready and head on to the boss. Use the same tactics during the bossfight, just use Hounds instead of Hellcrows. Once you'll lower boss's HP to 50%, it would summon some enemies, which would require you to switch back to Hellcrows for a bit. After that no additional enemies would be summoned, so you can stop running and wait calmly behind the pillar, which would block all the boss's fireballs, while recharching you ult.

It can take up to 30 minutes to do the achievement that way, and, truth be told, that's extremely boring, but it's also fairly easy.

I can confirm you do need to hit the first enemy to have the on-beat counter start. Then begin the run with the ultimate cycle for the rest of the level.

If you just run through the level, like I did, you never started a counter so there was none to get off-beat.

*Also, super thanks for the guide. It was incredibly helpful.

If you can’t get the trophy, then I recommend going through the first Vokk level on easy with the Greyhound pistols and additional weapons as your main weapon. boomerang weapon "Raven of the Underworld". According to the sigils, you need to choose “Unquestioning Submission: III” and “Power of the Last Breath: III”. The bottom line is this: we wait until the ult rolls back and place a turret with pistols in the middle of the arena and sit behind cover or run from mobs while lowering our health in advance and picking up boomerangs so that the ult accumulates in them, as soon as it rolls back you can use it. We repeat in each arena, you can simply run between arenas without touching the mobs. This way you can run through the entire level with almost no shots. If you shoot at mobs, pay attention to the Excellent or Good inscription that appears under the gun, if such an inscription does not appear, it means you are not on time and will have to restart the level again.

In special features at the end, check the always on beat checkbox.

The main thing is tact!
I strongly recommend setting up calibration in settings.
You can miss, the main thing is to shoot in time. You can take damage.

I confirm. The “always on beat” special feature allows you to get this trophy without any problems at all.
But as a person who first tried to get the trophy honestly, I can recommend that in order to simplify the task a little, you can first go through torture, especially those where you pump up the perk (the perks are called “sigils” here) “ghost charges”, it is already at its second level will add the first 4 shots without consuming ammunition (at the third level, probably as many as 6) after changing weapons. And you can also polish this beauty with a cowboy costume “angel eyes”, which is available to those who bought the DLC (it was not in vain, as it turned out, that they invested). Thanks to its fast reloading, it will also give you more ammo by increasing the maximum in the clip. After all this, you take a crossbow, because of the splash damage, and you destroy all living things on Vokka without even taking much aim. The main thing is to jump and turn back and forth.
