How to unlock the The Sword is Sharper achievement in Metal: Hellsinger - Definitive Guide

Terminus is your sword.
It’s always equipped to you, so when you get to any aspect of the Red Judge (the big winged skull boss at the end of each level), do damage with any weapon of your choice, then when she only has a sliver of health remaining, either press cn_RB twice to draw your sword, or press cn_up once for the same effect.
Then simply jump at or soar towards the Judge Aspect and get the final hit with your sword.

You can also press cn_up to equip Terminus in one button press instead of two.

I can confirm that final hit to the aspect is enough to get this achievement.

Yes, the final hit is enough to get the achievement. I did it in Voke (1st level).

Doesn't seem to work on the last level because it's the judge and not his aspect for the final blow.

Why the hell would you try this on the Judge? That eye ain’t easy to hit with a sword you know.

This is for killing the final boss of any level with the sword melee weapon. Just get the boss low and then finish it off ! Enjoy your new trophy

You can actually use any weapon during the bossfight, all that matters is the killing blow. Lower boss's HP and then finish it with your sword.

You can only strike the last blow with a blade and the trophy will be counted, but you can reduce the life bar with any other weapon.

Doesn't work on the final boss. Since there you are no longer fighting with your appearance.
