How to unlock the Fail Better achievement in METAL WOLF CHAOS XD - Definitive Guide

Metal Wolf on your first time through is remarkably hard to actually fail directly... except for the Alcatraz Island mission.

Once the mission begins, charge off the island into the ocean. Repeat nine more times. This can also be used to obtain the achievement This is Metal Wolf (dying once).

For some reason this one won't unlock for me, even though I keep failing the same mission over and over. Maybe it's cause I beat the game first, but even on a new save it won't unlock for me

You can actually do this on the very first mission very easily, just go all the way to the right and ignore Judy's warnings about all the enemies that way, keep going and you'll eventually fail the mission from going out of bounds, just do that 10 times and you're golden, and as a bonus you'll also get the achievement for deserting a mission 10 times.

If you have beaten the game before getting this achievement, and are still having trouble unlocking this: backup your save or get all the other achievements before wiping your save file from the Xbox dashboard. I did so and unlocked it.
