How to unlock the Teamwork Makes the Dream Work achievement in Metaphor: ReFantazio - Definitive Guide
Synthesis skills in Metaphor are basically as they sound: specialist moves where two of your squad will work together for devastating effect. While these skills are much more powerful than solo skills, and will yield massively different results, they will use MP for both characters and cost two turn icons (unless you hit a weakness or get a critical), so just be aware.
To get the ‘Teamwork Makes the Dream Work’ achievement, then, you need to use 50 different Synthesis skills. Emphasis on the word ‘different.’ So, in order to get this achievement you’re going to have to mix up your frontline constantly - or switch out their Archetypes - so that you get different options to use.
Honestly, the best way to do this is pick an Archetype and systematically go through all its Synthesis skills and once you’ve done them all, change Archetype for the next fight - the Archetypes of your squadmates matter here too. Then, rinse and repeat until the ‘Teamwork Makes the Dreamwork’ achievement pops. I had to get this one in New Game Plus as I barely changed Archetypes throughout my first run, so just be wary of this one going in and you’ll be fine… eventually.
