As you get into the final month of the game - around 09/26 - you’ll be able to access the terrifying Trials of the Dragon, where you face off against devastating dragons on the roof of the three Towers you find littered around Euchronia.

In order to unlock the ‘Entrusted’ achievement and get access to some pretty devastating pieces of armour and the like, you’ll need to beat all 3 dragons, and then defeat a final boss. As far as achievements goes, this one is probably one of the hardest ones in the entire game, so don’t go in unprepared as you’ll get your ass handed to you.

First things first, we’re not sure whether you have to complete the previous quests at the three towers, but we did, so if the below aren’t popping up, you know what to do.

The location of the Trials of the Dragon are as follows:

• Trial of the Dragon: Mad Mischief - Just outside The Greatest Catch tavern in Port Brilehaven is a Gabby Mustari who will tell you of a forbidden power you can retrieve at the nearby Forsaken Tower (to the north). No reward… except the Forbidden Power, of course (when you take down all 3).
• Trial of the Dragon: Heroes’ Rest - Speak to Edeni, Eupha’s brother, near the Dragon Statue Plaza on Virga Island to start this side quest and learn about another tower with a test. Head to the Spire of Blind Faith to the south of Virga Island to try this trial.
• Trial of the Dragon: Bygone Legacy - Just to the south of the king’s statue in Altabury Heights, in the Blue Sky Bridge region, is an Enraged Mustari who will tell you about another trial at another tower. This time you need to head to the Tower of Insolence.
• Trial of the Dragon: Essence of Power (Investigation) - And finally, once you’ve defeated all 3 dragons in the Trial of the Dragon quests, this will be your final destination. Prepare for another tricky fight.

In order to beat each of the dragons, we recommend at least being level 68-70, as otherwise you’ll get one tapped, and on top of that, paying attention to the information that the Informant in each town gives you - i.e. for the Mad Mischief one, do not equip anything that will repel the dragon’s attack, as he’ll absolutely hammer you in seconds if that’s the case.
