When the open-world starts to open up in the middle of June, you’ll get access to a flying sword - which you can use a bit like a skateboard - to get around cities quickly.

For the ‘Sword Surfer’ achievement, you need to use the flying sword… a lot! This one might actually take you well into your second playthrough, especially if you used fast-travel like us a lot. So, in order to assure you getting this as soon as possible, just use the sword constantly until the achievement pops.

When the ‘Sword Surfer’ achievement is all yours, then you’re free to fast-travel then to your heart’s content.
