Metaphor: ReFantazio

During the Martira segment of Metaphor: ReFantazio you’ll recruit Heismay to your band of merry compatriots, which will give you access to the Thief Archetype - you’ll need to reach Follower rank 1 with him for anyone else to get access to it, mind.

One of the skills you’ll have access to from the off is “Steal,” which does exactly what it says on the tin: it allows you to steal a rare item from an enemy. So, in order to get the ‘What’s Yours is Mine’ achievement, you basically need to use that to steal and be successful.

Easy, right? Well, honestly, it took me many, many, many attempts until I was successful. I reckon I must have tried it 50-100 times before I actually got an item. Whether that’s my crappy RNG or not, who knows? 

Here’s some things you can do to make it easier, though:

• Firstly, the higher the agility of your character, the better the chance you have of being successful. Heismay is great for this, as he’s an agility beast, and will likely have the highest agility throughout the game… until your main protagonist blows past them, of course.
• And secondly, I actually got it to work for the first time on a stunned enemy (stunning them in the overworld and then using it before they recover). That’s not to say that’s 100% foolproof, as it still took a few attempts, but I definitely had more success this way.
