How to unlock the Shocking achievement in Metro 2033 Redux - Definitive Guide
The gun uses the pellet like ammo and has a gas lever which wil need to be pulled once it runs out which can really hurt you in the long run but this gun is a very good one to have when facing demons and librarians!
If anything needs changing please let me know in the comments!
I've created a full Enlightened playthrough video showing almost every Moral Point in the game as well as pointing out items of interest, such as this achievement.
You can see the checkpoint I'm referring to in the Dark Star mission at the 1:48:04 mark in the video.
The Hellbreath is a rare and very powerful weapon but can be obtained in Armory or Church. This weapon will kill most enemies in a single hit, I recommend going for this on Frontline as it has many many enemies and you can reload the checkpoint to farm kills if you wish.
The Hellbreath, formerly known as the Volt Driver, is a significantly powerful rail gun that is only obtainable at the weapon vendors in "Armory" and "Church." The Hellbreath in "Armory" is pretty expensive so it's highly recommended to save as many military-grade rounds as possible in order to buy it early on. On the other hand, the vendor in "Church" allows any of his weapons - Hellbreath included - to be swapped out for any of your current weapons, free of price!!
Overall, this gun is effective in any situation outside of a stealth playthrough so you will definitely want to grab it early on in the Spartan Mode playthrough. Its incredible electromagnetic projectiles will score an instant kill on nearly any human or mutant enemy except Librarians. Just make sure to fully recharge the battery after each shot to maximize its power. Once you have killed at least thirty enemies with this weapon, the achievement will be yours.
