How to unlock the Blogger achievement in Metro 2033 Redux - Definitive Guide

Metro 2033 Redux has a total of 51 hidden Diary Pages spread across all levels of the campaign. If you miss any, you can always use chapter select in order to pick them out, and you can quit out after picking them up as they save instantly. Additionally, progress will carry between playhtroughs, so you are free to mop these up on your 2nd time through the game if you want.

I have all the collectables but its on 98% on the achievement? If someone had the same problem and fixed it, let me know.

Just completed the last note. I have them all but the tracker says I only have 58%. Any clues?

If you're still stuck on 58% - continuing the game, dying and then reloading the checkpoint after dying.

I was stuck on 94%, but each time I died and reloaded, it updated a couple of percent.

Maybe just loading a new checkpoint will do the trick without dying?

Was stuck on 98%, but after totally giving up on it and going after the Quick Draw achievement in the HUNTER level, it popped after I let myself die and loaded a checkpoint.

So five months later I'm playing Battlefield Hardline and this pops out of the blue... Still shows the date as 11/2/2014 though. Very strange.

I too was stuck on 98%, checked by opening up the achievements, despite having collected all of the diary pages. The fastest solution is to die right after collecting the last one forcing a reload of a checkpoint. Manual reload might trigger it too.

i can confirm that reloading the checkpoint on without dying on any level over and over again works… mine was stuck at 84% and each time i reloaded from last checkpoint it went up 2% then eventually popped .

Ahh collectibles, how we love to hate them. There are 51 Diary Pages throughout the game, and you have to collect them all for this one. Fortunately you don't have to finish the level as they save immediately, so if you miss any along the way you can go back and grab them, then just quit out to the menu right away.

I've created a full Enlightened playthrough video showing almost every Moral Point in the game as well as pointing all the collectibles and many miscellaneous achievements. If you'd like to follow along level-by-level so you can get all the Diary Pages while getting the Moral Points toward enlightened and knocking out other achievements along the way, I've included the video below.

Yes that is correct. When you switch modes youre starting a new game which erases your save data. You need to use level select to get any you missed before switching modes.

Just letting people know that...It wasn't mentioned and I had to find out the hard way...BTW, it just popped as I was going through it again in Survival Mode...!

Must have either glitched for me or you can't get the Diaries in both Spartan and Survival Modes. Because as of today I have found all Diaries, while playing both Survival and Spartan Modes, but the cheevo didn't pop.
I guess your supposed to get the Diaries while only playing one mode, because swiching between modes deletes or erases the Diary save. I don;t know...Anyone have a solution for this? Thanks...

In total, there are fifty-one Diary pages that are scattered about the various levels within the entirety of the game. These pages are unique in appearance: they are large brown folders with a bright yellow “M” on the front and they emit a bright glow/shine. Upon successfully snagging them all, this achievement will be yours. Also, please take note that none of these collectibles are missable; however if you do happen to miss any during either of your playthroughs, you can always reload an individual level via Chapter Select in the Main Menu.

Overall, some of these collectibles can usually be found in plain sight as you are progressing through each level. Others may often time be hidden off the main path which will in turn require a decent amount of exploration. For this reason, it is highly recommended to hunt down these collectibles on your Survival Mode playthrough since exploration for resources will be necessary anyways. As a final note, collectible progress will be saved as soon as they are picked up and you can check the “Diary” tab in the Pause Menu at anytime to see a highly detailed checklist regarding which collectibles you have already obtained.

Note: Do not start a new game in Metro Last Light Redux while collecting the Diaries in Metro 2033 Redux. Doing so will delete all your collectible progress (Thanks to PowerPyx for testing this with version 1.00 of the game)!!!

The missing chapters can be found by selecting chapters; if you start a new game, the counter will reset to zero and you will have to collect them from the very beginning.

The trophy is glitchy. All my notes suddenly disappeared out of nowhere. I accidentally went to read the diary at the Black Station, there was absolutely nothing there, and before that I collected all the notes.

The most interesting thing is that the only solution is to replay the game. Sadness in short.
