How to unlock the Stunning achievement in Metro 2033 - Definitive Guide

I found it easier to do it on the level "Bridge". After you follow Bourbon and have to use the mask for the first time, you will go up on the stairs. Take the mask off and walk in front of the train, turn around 180 degrees and walk till the edge of the path. A Nosalise will show up. Kill it and then just turn around and run to the train again, turn and walk back. Each time you will trigger 1 Nosalise.

Here you can work towards all other X kills achievements too.

Nice, except can't seem to unlock this stunning achievo and have tried like over 40 kills at one stage before I gave up. I have tried reloading checkpoints and levels also and restarting my count at 0 and have had no luck after getting 25 kills again.

Were you doing kills by using the alternative fire(LT)? Did you see sparks coming out?

Didn't get answer but I thought I'll let others know that you can find Volt Driver on the bandit station in Lost Tunnels.

To get an alternate fire kill with the Volt Driver, you must melee an enemy with the weapon by pressing LT.
If Done correctly, you should see a spark come out of the gun as you shock the enemy.

You can easily get this achievement on "Cursed Station",
go grab the bomb on the right side and plant it up by the top area (up the stairs), then run to the left side... but don't plant the bomb instead wait at the end for 3 Nosalies every 10 secs or so... keep killing until you get your achievement, then reload your checkpoint and work on the next weapon achievement. :D

NOTE: The Volt Driver must still be "Charged" in order to do this.

First and only reasonable Volt Driver is found in the Armory, in the room where you come to after the chase.

On a side note, the Volt Driver is an air-gun for all practical purposes (uses the air gun ammo, needs to be pumped)...other than for the other achievement to kill 25 humans with air guns. In that case it is not an air gun.

The Volt Driver is the second new weapon in the DLC, and it can be found in a few locations through Metro. The first location is in the Lost Tunnels, on an ammo bag near the campfire in the first room full of bandits (it's important that you get it here). You will also find it on the bed next to the heavy auto shotgun (you can only choose one, and I recommend you choose that), and you'll find it a third time in Sparta base on the weapon rack.

The gun's power is based on its charge, which you must increase in a similar fashion to the NVGs or flashlight, but in this case you need to hold and tap to charge. This is very important to get the secondary fire kills needed for stunning (press to do a melee shock attack - aim for the head), and can mean the difference between one-shot kills and 0 damage. I recommend using only the Volt Driver until you reach the auto shotgun in Armory.

Farming kills - When you're outside of Cursed Station and you need to blow up the tunnel and the escalator entrance, park yourself at the top of the escalator for an infinite stream of enemies, so long as you don't block off the entrance. Because they appear in groups, I would recommend getting Stunning done prior to this, and using the primary here as it is safer against groups.

This attack is a mixture of a bayonet charge and a stun gun. Consumes about a fifth of the Electrogun's charge. Not effective against people. Very good against small monsters, especially if you get used to hitting them right away.

You can get this achievement on kikimoras before the chapter "Child" when the wounded leader of the resistance gives us a tape, we pass near him and jump onto the platform there we go into the central room and there are holes in the walls everywhere from which kikimoras come out, we kill them with an alternative shot of the rails when the kikimoras stop to climb out, we go a little forward and on the right we see a staircase, go to the top of the staircase and stand there waiting, in a minute about 2-3 kikimoras will run out to our staircase. Keep in mind that the kikimoras must be killed immediately as they run up to us, because if we don’t kill kikimora will immediately run away and you will have to wait for a new game of kikimora. Somewhere 4 games are needed to achieve this achievement!
