How to unlock the Headhunter achievement in Metro Exodus - Definitive Guide

If you’re like me, and didn’t get this on your first play through simply reload the Moscow level. Get to the part were you’re on the train right near the end, when your prompted to go through the first door after taking the enemy in the window out/first cart derail option you want to make a quick save here when INSIDE (make sure your on the EASIEST difficulty). Kill the 5-6 enemies quick load and repeat.

I’ve only posted this as a solution because my second and last play through will be on ranger hardcore and as many of you may know it’s wise to do this entirely stealthy and avoiding any “bad choices” killing etc, and I only finished on 60% human kills after my first run not caring what choices I made etc. I’d like to totally avoid conflict if need be on that play through

Do the Cannibals in the Yamantau level count? I'm assuming they don't seeing how I just mowed down hundreds of them haha

A bit late on this response for you but no, Cannibals in Yamantau do not count toward this achievement. Also, the previous sentence is a spoiler, do not read it if you've yet to reach Yamantau.

I unlocked this during the Sam's Story DLC which has plenty of human enemies.

Moscow is certainly not the level i would recommend doing this on. I used the desert area, sniper tower.

I've killed 1,251 human enemies, achievement will not go any higher than 99% complete. Can't seem to get it to unlock.

In this video guide I will show you how you can farm 300 human kills. Now this can be done at anytime in the game. All you have to do is set up a good spot you want to get a lot of kills and quickly. Then make a quick save, after you kill everyone just reload the quick load. Keep doing this until the achievement pops.

Human enemies will be present throughout the entire game and there will be plenty opportunity to kill them. However, bear in mind that NOT killing humans is a requirement for "Duke", "Damir", "Alyosha" and subsequently "Full Strength" so if you're attempting to unlock these during a playthrough, you likely won't kill many humans.

If you plan to do two full playthroughs then feel free to go 'loud' and kill everyone you can during one of them. If you plan on using the Ranger Hardcore glitch to circumvent a second playthrough you still may need to grind out kills, though probably not many.

Human enemies are one of two types (human and mutants) located throughout the game. During your good ending run you will be stunning and passing by stealthily most enemies so it may require farming. This can be done via reloads, Chapter Select or during your NG+ bad ending run if that's the route you have taken. The open world chapters are the best places to farm these. Find a bandit outpost, save, kill all human enemies and reload save. Rinse and repeat.

THE FASTEST WAY!
Turn on the Taiga level (reader difficulty) and go to the first Pirates (pioneers) camp . Make a quick save.
Kill all the pirates (there are 12-13 of them) and download (quick downloads here).
I just cut up enemies (I'm a bad shot). I spent about 20 minutes for 120 enemies , since I had already killed people for other achievements.

The easiest way: DLC 2 colonels (if available)
According to the plot, there will be a moment with people endlessly attacking, and next to it is a box with endless cartridges, don’t miss it

Volga, the last task where you need to lower the bridge. We do a manual save, there are crowds of people running around) And after taking the elevator, they generally wait for you, stand, listen to sectarian speeches, a couple of grenades thrown into the crowd speeds up the process)

Completed the first playthrough without killing anyone. But the trophy was taken at the head of the Caspian Sea after water was stolen with Damir. Artem will fall asleep in the car and when he wakes up there will be a tough shootout and a lot of enemies. Here they don’t allow you to make a quick save because the battle has already begun, but the checkpoint is right from the very beginning of the attack. So there are about 20 enemies among the cars, I stupidly threw bombs and Molotovs at them and shot at those who remained except for the healthiest armored one with a machine gun. (After killing him, the checkpoint is overwritten) so as soon as we killed everyone, without touching the thug, we load the kit. . and again. Everything took 30-40 minutes
