You'll run into Nosalis monsters in the 3rd act of the story, after you've

You'll get to a door that needs power to be cranked up, but in typical Metro fashion, the system will need to reboot and you'll have to defend yourself against these beasts until the door is fully open. Killing one with the butt of the flamethrower is pretty easy on Normal. A few hits and they'll go down. You might die in the process of getting the 3 kills, but that's ok. If you get the 3rd kill and you've taken some serious damage, just reload your last save so you can start the fight over with full strength. Then toast those fuckers with the Grillmaster 9000 and move on.

This achievement is glitched in my case at 66% and wont progress. I already killed several Nosalis per melee, no progress. Its the same situation with "Warlord" from Halo 5.

For anyone still struggling with this achievement, I found a solution after attempting it many MANY times. *I DID HAVE A DISC VERSION IN WHILE ATTEMPTING THIS. SO IM NOT SURE WHAT THAT MAY OR MAY NOT CHANGE*
1) Delete you local save data within the manage game options
2) Launch the game and then go offline or vice versa. You just want your main menu to have no “load save” or “continue” as an option.
3) Once it essentially shows the menu as it would if you’ve never played the game, go back to settings and go online.
4) Go back the game now. It shouldn’t sync or change the menu at all.
5) Chapter select the two colonels DLC and play through it and do the achievement like you usually would.
This worked for me. Launching it offline and not letting it sync my local or cloud saves essentially gave me a fresh start and I think whatever bug was attached to my save or saves, was reset and I was able to play it as if I was playing it for the very first time and it helped get the achievement to track and unlock.
Hope this helps someone. Feel free to ask any questions if any steps don’t work correctly.

You only encounter these enemies during chapter 3 so be sure that during the first encounter with them when you're waiting for power to restore to open a door, you go out of your way to get this here. There are far more than three of them here and throughout the DLC but it can be frustrating to register a hit with the melee attack so get it done sooner rather than later, so as to also be sure you don't miss it and need to start the DLC again.
