How to unlock the Gunsmith achievement in Metro Exodus - Definitive Guide

In this video guide I will show you how you can install 5 modifications of each category on a single weapon. Now to find the parts for these they will just be scattered around the wasteland on dead bodies or the enemies that you kill. Just be sure to hold the B button on the weapons so you take all the accessories on them. And don't forget to LOOT EVERYTHING to help find more items. Once that is done either go to a safe house with a workbench or go into your backpack and go to your weapons and start installing the mods.

For this achievement you must fully modify a single weapon with a non-standard attachment in each category. The attachement categories are:
 
  • Stock
  • Barrel
  • Sight
  • Magazine
  • Gadget
You will find attachments for all weapons as you progress through the game. Whenever you kill an enemy that drops a gun, you can hold to scavenge any attachments on it that you don't currently have in your inventory. You will have no issues in acquiring at least one attachment for each category after having played through the game.

Note that the Gatling cannot be upgraded in any way, but it's very likely you will have this achievement well before ever finding a Gatling anyway.

This trophy will most definitely come naturally. To unlock modifications, you can either pick them up remove or dismantle them while they are on the ground by holding . Install the mod at a workbench or hold + to bring up your backpack and select them on the weapons page. The minigun has the least modifications to apply (it only has two) but you will have this trophy way before you find the minigun.

I found orange objects on the cannons, installed them and the achievement came out

The prize came out after I installed various modifications on the Tihar while still on the Volga. I hope there will be no difficulties with this prize
