How to unlock the Lower the Bridge achievement in Metro Exodus - Definitive Guide

This is story related and can't be missed. The beginning of the final mission is where you will be stealing a boat to reach the bridge by water. You will get the achievement after you get control of the bridge which is in the area with the cultists giving a speech. Once you reach the top and watch a cut scent where you jump back on the train the achievement will pop.

I completed this level and duke survived did not get both achievments then started the next level, lost all my armor upgrades (got the cheev for all upgrades tho), unlocked most story achievments after except for 1 again, is there a work around im gonna attempt chapter selrct after i complete the game

Story related and can't be missed

After collecting your new passenger train car and bringing it back to your locomotive. You will set off for the last mission of Chapter 3 via some boats you'll have to acquire. Before capturing these boats make sure to craft enough ammo and Medkits to last you. This is the first major chapter for the good ending. See Your Destination for more details. It's recommended to use stealth for the last section and try to only knock out the enemies who are in your way. Simple progress through until the cutscene starts.
