How to unlock the Untouchable achievement in Metro Exodus - Definitive Guide
A short notice, got my achievement with this method which is also on the comments
You can die against the bat's
Start the game on normal doing all other achievements but before you go inside the lighthouse at the end do a quick safe.
Then play through the end sequence.
After that, go to chapter select on the main menu und start sam's story Form the beginning.
Wait until you have control of your character and don't do a quick safe here, just wait until the game safes automatically.
Pause the game and load the safe game which you created before you enter the lighthouse on your first run.
Play the end sequence again und the achievement should pop right at the ending scene.
It just did for me with this method
I hope it works for you guys
Cheers:)

19.09.21 Can confirm, this still works, thanks!

Thank you so much. Like Goyette, I had a similar FPS drop during the second encounter (compared to theirs in the third). My last achievement to end this trilogy, thank you very much.

In this DLC, you'll encounter a new type of enemy: the Batwing. It's kinda look like the flying demons in the base game, so don't expect a big change. In the level, you will fight against this creature in 3 times. Those encounters cannot be skipped, they're mandatory fights.
Tips:
Boss encounters:
The achievement will pop once the credits start rolling. (Thanks @Cpt Rush 1940, @Mr. MahHa)
Hope this helped!

Confirming that going black screen, then crawling out from under the car, thrown by the Batwing at you during the second Batwing encounter, DOESN'T void the achievement. Actually I went black screen twice in that fight, still unlocked the cheevo. But, there's one thing to mention. I escaped other car throws w/o damage. So you still have to be careful. Good luck!

In my game this achievement poped up hat the end of the dlc

There is a far simpler way of getting this achievement then just not dying during the batwing encounters. You can instead follow along with this amazing 7:55 speedrun linked below. There's no crazy jumps or techniques. Just simple running out of bounds.
*FYI: Around the 1:10 mark of the video, there is a kill barrier. If you're careful, and follow exactly how he walks through the tree, you'll make it. There's also a few points where you can fall through the map so be careful, follow the video, and make good use of quick saves!
(I do not own any credit for the video)

Can Confirm work for me finally

If everyone has the second jump problem as Player:ACE119RX , there is another way just on the right side of the yellow generator , just move around the circle of the control tower and then jump to the last ship which let you go to the final part。

Sorry for my English, I'm using the translator. To obtain the achievement quickly, easily and without suffering, do the following: 1) play the dlc normally and save the game manually before climbing the stairs to the tower at the end of the game right after the shooting over the boats 2) start a new game in the dlc in normal as soon as it saves automatically pause the game and go to load 3) load the save made before climbing the tower and after that, just watch the scene and the achievement will pop up This same method is used for both DLC and the campaign to obtain achievements related to difficulty
~Highly missable~ ~ BUGGY~
You will need to play the chapter on normal and not die at all during the 3 encounters. Re loading after death won't work. You’ll need to back up your save and re download it every time you die. Making this trophy an absolute pain. You can however, reload a save before you die.

First encounter
- This is the easiest one. The Batwing will show up on either side of the train car. Just shoot it as soon as it is up in the air until it falls down and repeat. Listen to the sound to know which side it is on - it shakes the tree branches.
If you miss, make sure to hide behind the train car as the bat swarm attacks.
Second encounter
- Make sure you stock up on ammo, medkits and weapons at the workbench just before the car park (33:00). Similar to the previous encounter, you need to shoot the Batwing as soon as it appears in the air.
- It will occasionally send bat swarms towards you - look for a car to hide behind nearby or jump left or right. You can lure the swarm to a certain position as it forms and then quickly run to the opposite end as they try to attack so they miss.
- The Batwing will try to push cars towards you (3 times total). Look around and run to the opposite end of where it is. If you are hurt, getting hit by the cars will kill you instantly. If you are not, it will only damage you so you must heal immediately or reload.
- After the third wave of cars sent in your way, the Batwing will attack a few more times and so will the bat swarms. You have a very limited area to run in so make sure you shoot the Batwing and run away from the swarms as best as you can, then quickly heal if you are hit.
Third and final encounter
- This is easier than the second one but make sure you stock up on ammo, medkits and weapons at the workbench in the ruined house just before the encounter (Watch out for the mines around it. I was already stocked up so I skipped this bit)
- Listen and look for the tree branches shaking. Keep constant aim at where the source of the disturbance is and be ready to shoot as soon as the Batwing runs out to surprise you.
- Occasionally you will be attacked by bat swarms again but in this area you have plenty of space to jump sideways or run around. If hurt, always heal.

Bug Reports
There are reports that this trophy is not popping even if all the requirements are met with no deaths, reloads or completing the chapter over and over. Head to the roadmap for an in depth breakdown of all bugs.
You will need to set the difficulty of the game to Normal before starting the DLC or else this achievement WILL NOT unlock. Do not lower the difficulty at any point, or again it WILL NOT unlock. You change the difficulty from the main menu by going into Options > Game Opttions > Difficulty. Set it to Normal here before starting a new Sam's Story game.
There are three Batwing encounters in the game and they are easy enough, especially if you play on Normal and no higher, but can also unexpectedly kill you if you're not careful. You will be able to heal as much as needed, though you only have five medkits at most for the first two encounters. You can also save beforehand, which is strongly recommended that you do. You can reload your save BEFORE dying to have another attempt at the Batwing encounter should you feel it's not going very well and that you may die, so having a save before it could allow you to retry/rethink your strategy before trying again. If you do die, reloading your save will not matter since the achievement will then be void. You must reload your save BEFORE dying to have another chance.
The first Batwing encounter is near the very beginning after meeting the captain and sliding down a fast rope, you will be trapped on a small platform with a train car in the middle, that will provide decent cover for you. Here the Batwing will rise up in the sky, then charge at you. If you deal enough damage to it, it will drop down and not charge, only it's smaller minions might bother you then, but they do comparatively little damage. There are some boxes in the open doors of the train car with ammo and medkits too, so be sure to grab them. This is the easiest of the encounters and will only take downing the Batwing a few times, before the fight ends via cutscene.
The second encounter is possibly the most difficult since you can be killed by a game mechanic during the fight. You will be in a scrap yard filled with old cars and the Batwing again will drop down below them, then shoot up in the sky, then charge at you. You can again nullify this charge by dealing enough damage to it to drop it from the sky. Here, incendiary rounds with the Sammy Rifle will be very useful and devastatingly effective against the Batwing. The mechanic you need to be aware of; after a short while, the Batwing will drop behind a pile of cars, then you will see a dust cloud coming from the pile. After a few moments, it will push those cars foward, making the arena a little smaller. This happens twice in the fight. If you happen to be in the path of these cars when they're knocked over, you will be instantly killed and potentially void this achievement, so you need to be very careful of this happening.
The third and final encounter is towards the end of the DLC and will be in a small grove surrounded by trees. Here, the Batwing will run around the outside, out of your view, then reveal itself before charging you a moment later. You can track the movement of the Batwing in the trees as you can see the trees moving as it runs through them, though it can be somewhat difficult to see, it's the only tell to know where it's coming from. As with the previous encounters, enough damage to the Batwing before it charges you will make it stumble and miss it's attack.
After beating all three encounters with the Batwing on at least Normal difficulty, the achievement will unlock after completing the story, not after the final encounter.

The local Krylan is an analogue of the demons that were encountered in the main game.
There are 3 encounters with him in total:
1) after meeting the Captain you will go down the cable. This is where he attacks you for the first time. Here it’s easy to defeat him: we shoot while he’s hovering in the air and we dodge his brood of small fry by running.
2) car dump. Here everything is similar to the first point + towards the end it will start flying towards you in a straight line. He will also drop heaps of cars on you. Watch this carefully - this attack immediately puts you in a state where the screen is flooded with blood. Use the first aid kit right away so as not to die.
3) after obtaining suits from the fire station. This is the final skirmish - here he will already rush along the ground and attack. Watch carefully behind the bushes and shoot immediately when he jumps out. In the end, he will climb trees and set small ghouls on you. We run from them and shoot at Krylan at the same time.
Before skirmishes, make a save so that you don’t have to replay the entire expansion due to death during the battle with it.

The trophy drops at the end of the dlc, when there is a choice to blow up the submarine or not, after choosing, the trophy will appear. At first I was dumb and didn’t understand why after the third battle with the fruit bat they didn’t give me a trophy.

Died once. I saved myself before the final with Klim and beat the game. Didn't get the trophy.
Then I started DLS from the very beginning in the same save slot, the difficulty did not change to “normal”. Once I got control of the character, I loaded my save (before Klim). I watched the ending (the boat being blown up). The trophy fell out.

I advise you to use the speedrun technique of skipping all the dlc, by jumping off the map, you can get to the crane where the klim is stuck. You get a trophy for the wings and for completing the DLS. The whole event takes about 10 minutes from start to credits, and then, without bothering with the fruit bat, you collect collectibles and a good ending.
