How to unlock the Invisible Soldier achievement in Metro: Last Light Redux - Definitive Guide

Quite a long level, and easily the hardest out of all stealth related achievements, you will be required to complete the level within killing or raising an alarm. If you are spotted at any point, "Load Last Checkpoint" and try again.

Explaining the path through the level via text would be extremely confusing, so instead I recommend watching this video:

well i replayed the campaign on SPARTAN an followed your video an worked perfect!!!
However on SURVIVAL this will not work.. it may work on your original campaign run if you wait around in the 3rd an 4th sections an knock out the guards but im not sure..
I used chapter select after a Survival run an after completing the way your video showed with the use of reloaded checkpoints it did not work
it also did not work after completing without the use of reloaded checkpoints but i did knock out enemies.. that may have voided?? or you may not be aloud to reload the chapter?? not sure?? you may want to test or add into guide???

I too had trouble in survival, I didn't even knock anyone out, and an alarm never was raised. I guess I'll try again on Spartan difficulty

Just did this three times on survival. No knockouts, no alarms. No achievement. I'll try on my Spartan play through....

Just unlocked the Achievement again in Metro Redux. Same as before... on Survival with checkpoint reloads and knocking out Guard.
I always reload checkpoint soon as someone spots me and never wait for the Alarm to go off.
You can unlock it on Survival 100% wink

I don't know if it's a glitch... anyway: I've tried 3/4 times on Survival ad I wasn't unable to unlock it (and I'm sure I've never been spotted).
Done yesterday on my Spartan play through, reloading checkpoints and knocking off the very last guy..... I've been actively researched by foes (music changes when it happens) but never spotted.

Concerning the video: almost perfect I've just did a couple of changes: on 2nd piece I've waited the last foe behind a pillars and not beside the rocks (I've been spotted by enemies behind me). In the last piece I've waited for the 3 big guys on the left, behind a rock and letting them pass, then run to the very last one and knocking him off while he was giving me his back.

Another great guide, worked flawlessly. I did what zeno2k did on the last heavy guys and waited behind the gas cylinders just prior to the door then went through after they'd gone by.

I think it's a glitch on Survival. That mode is known the soldiers are a bit smarter and more aware of situations.

If only I had realised the enemies don’t see you when you’re basically in font of them earlier. I spend an hr trying it slow and steadily, I knocked basically everyone out and waited too long in some sections. The video worked like a charm, did it on the first try! Thanks so much!

This is by far the most dumbest Achievement ever with buggy Soldiers Detections. Reminds me more of Modern Warfare II Recon By Fire

As the third “invisible” achievement, you should feel comfortable enough with the stealth gameplay mechanics at this point in the game. This level is much more difficult to navigate given the amount of enemies within the compound. Try to keep an eye on Artyom's watch and stick to the shadows. You'll definitely want to utilize the video below since this level is by far the hardest of the three invisible achievements.

You will be doing the same thing as Invisible Intruder and Invisible Savior. Don't kill and don't get detected. For those having trouble being stealthy, here's a guide by ne1082:

Even if the soldiers began to shout “Alarm!”, you can safely continue to play. The trophy will be counted.
An alarm is considered if the enemies turn on the siren.

Unlike the difficulty of Metro2033, here you can go on the "survival" difficulty.

You can stun your opponents! But on easy difficulty this won't be necessary.
