How to unlock the Air! achievement in Metro: Last Light Redux - Definitive Guide

Should take you to long in the story to get this achievement once your giving a gas mask. There is no reason to grind the time out in one sitting due to the amount of filters you will go though while completing the game.

"Should" take too long, or "shouldn't" take too long?? Maybe proof read before posting a solution?

If one wanted to grind this out, do you have enough filters when you get the mask to just sit for 30 mins?

This achievement will most likely come naturally of the course of both playthroughs. Every time you equip the gas mask in a radiated zone, the mask’s filters will provide clean air for Artyom to travel around unharmed.

A single filter usually lasts for about five minutes before it needs to be replaced. Make sure to pay attention to the beeping of your watch and the on-screen prompts in order to recognize when it needs a replacement. Additionally, there are plenty of filter scattered around each level for you to loot. Overall, once thirty minutes worth of mask filters have been utilized, this achievement will unlock.

This is another trophy that will come over time but if you want the trophy ASAP, just stand out in the open with your gas mask and change filters for as long as you can starting on the Chapter "ASHES".
