How to unlock the Freedom! achievement in Metro Last Light - Definitive Guide

Load up the "Pavel" level, and progress until you go through the airlock after walking out of the gas room. Walk to the end of the tunnel, and after killing a few enemies, you can flip the switch on the control panel on the right. The achievement should unlock after doing this. Hey guys, the only reason I'm uploading a video guide for this achievement is simply because I didn't get it on my first play through of the game and I know a few others who missed it and can't find the lever so here's a quick guide to show where exactly it is. I hope this helps and best of luck.

As you become captured early on by the Reich, you will need to escape the prison. Once you you start to climb the prison tower, you will be asked by the prisoners to set them free. After you enter the guard room area, clear out all the enemies. Then hit the switch just in front of the window overlooking the rest of the tower.

On the level where you and Pavel escape from the Nazi camp, you will slowly climb upwards taking out enemies along the way with the prisoners imploring you to help them escape. To let the prisoners escape you must pull a lever that is in the control center at the top. There is a nazi on a radio to the right of the switch sitting down.

Honestly its kind of hard to miss unless you play cautiously to avoid some of the guards. You also get a moral point for flipping the lever.

Freedom! é uma conquista de Metro Last Light que pode ser obtida no terceiro capítulo do jogo, "Pavel". Para obtê-la, o jogador deve libertar todos os prisioneiros da prisão do Exército Vermelho.

Para libertar os prisioneiros, o jogador deve seguir as instruções de Pavel. No final do capítulo, o jogador chegará à central de controle da prisão. Lá, Pavel pedirá ao jogador para apertar uma alavanca que liberará os prisioneiros.
A conquista Freedom! é relativamente fácil de obter. O jogador só precisa seguir as instruções de Pavel e apertar a alavanca no final do capítulo.

No entanto, a conquista também pode ser interpretada como um símbolo de liberdade. Ao libertar os prisioneiros, o jogador está ajudando-os a escapar do controle do Exército Vermelho. Isso representa uma vitória da liberdade sobre a opressão.

This can be earned on the level "Pavel." After reaching the top of the prison, you will see and control panel surrounded by a few enemies. Flip the switch and all prisoners will be freed.
