I can confirm that stupid bug!
I can't do anything as of now because there is some sort of autosave after you are back to the village.

Just a heads up, it is possible to soft lock the game, I killed the Dragon boss as it killed me, once I respawned I went back to the arena and the boss wasn't there but I couldn't talk to to the lost villager to continue forcing me to restart, so just word of advice be careful not to die as you kill a boss or else you'll have to most likely restart
