I did this on level 16. (First race of Junior series)

Using the white car with blue stripes (the one in the title image), just drive normally until you get to the long straight. By this time your nitro should be full. Start moving, use nitro, and drift to the right. If done correctly, you should end up with about 35 point drift and the achievement.

I did this on level 53. If you use the yellow car with the black stripes, you can use your turbo as you're coming onto the slight right turn of the straight. Drift as you're going through at full power. My drift using the boost gave me an easy 27 point drift.
