Microsoft Jackpot

The achievement text is straightforward, but just a note about what seems to be a bit glitchy. I found that even if I didn't log in daily, it wouldn't reset me to Day 1 again. Therefore, the first time I hit Day 5, the achievement didn't pop. I had to get to Day 5, which then reset the bonus, then claim the bonus coins daily until it popped.

19/07/2015 update: Sorry for the late update (don't think anybody's seen this post anyway, but regardless), I had missed collecting the bonus one day. But I collected my 5th today and the achievement popped. So the fix for this particular problem stands strongly.

13/07/2015 update: Very pleasantly, the daily bonus actually came up today. It didn't quite really popped on screen, but the "Bonus" button appeared at the top of the screen and I clicked it and it told me I was on a one day streak with the daily bonus collection, so it prompted me to collect the daily bonus for the second day in a row. Therefore, everything seems to be normal now... I will update this solution once more once I claim my 5th daily bonus mentioning if I got the achievement or not; that will be on 16th July 2015.

There is a REALLY BIG issue, that is very particular, but some people might end up in this situation that I'm going to explain in the next paragraph, with this achievement that, at first glance, will prevent you from ever realistically earning this achievement. I want to preface what will follow with this: at the moment I do NOT know exactly if the fix for this problem actually works, however I will update this post on 13th July 2015 with the verdict.

The description of the problem:
Let's say that, in the beginning, in the first hours or days, you decide to farm coins through the half hour repeatable ad by forwarding your time to get 100 000 coins for the achievement, but you don't want the ad to actually show up and waste ~30 seconds of your time every time and you found out that there are no more ads displayed after the year 2021 and you forward your date to, let's say, 1st January 2022. You then click on View Ad and the ad really doesn't play and you get your 750 coins. Brilliant, that's fantastic, saves a lot of time, BUUUT, when you launch the game at that date (1st January 2022), you will receive your daily bonus coins notification and unknowingly you accept those coins. That's when everything goes down... At that date (1st January 2022) many features of Xbox Live are not functional, relative to the current date (July 2015) and that includes Achievements. Furthermore, the date on which you last collected your daily coin bonus is stored in cloud and is very hard to modify, so now you can realize that in cloud, the last day when you collected your coin bonus is now 1st January 2022... If you revert to the current date (July 2015), restart the game, you won't get any Daily coin bonus popup and you won't get that for any date that is now earlier than 1st January 2022. Only if you set your date to 2nd January 2022, you will get the Daily coin bonus popup and in the game it will show you that you are on a 2 day streak with that bonus. Let's say you continue forwarding your date with 1 day at a time, claiming the coin bonus every day and then you get to the 5th day, 5th January 2022 and you accept the daily coin bonus and nothing happens, no achievement pops, because I said earlier that achievements don't work at such a distant date in the future, relative to our current date... So, the situation seems pretty grim... Now, let me light up the mood by saying that THERE IS A (POTENTIAL, see opening paragraph) FIX.

Alright, so the (POTENTIAL, see opening paragraph) fix goes like this:
1. Uninstall the game
2. Install the game back (from the Xbox Store)
3. Disconnect your Internet
4. Change your date backward 1 month (so if now is July 2015, you'd set it to June 2015)
5. Start the game up, ignore the daily coin bonus popup (close it with the X at the top right), select Yes when asked if you want to associate a Microsoft account to save your progress and click Ok at the top right of the app screen if it says it couldn't establish a connection to Xbox Live
6. Enter the first slot machine and play through the tutorial until you enter the temple and you have to pick a green gem. At this point, back out to the main menu.
7. Alt+F4 out of the app. Make sure it is no longer running by checking Task Manager under Background processes.
8. Connect the Internet back and leave the date as it is, still 1 month before the current date.
9. Now, before you do this step, you must pay attention, read this whole step before doing what it says and be quick when you start the process: Start the game up and wait for a message on screen asking you if you want to continue with your local save or the cloud save. As fast as you can, pick Local Save and then at the top of the screen, click on the Bonus button and accept the Daily Coin Bonus. If you were fast enough, the Daily Coin bonus popup will have gone away by itself by the time the game informs you that your coins and level have been synced up from cloud.

11. Remain connected to the Internet and now change your date to the current date (now is 4th July 2015)
12. Start the game up, there will be no popup for Daily coin bonus, sit at the main menu for at least 25 seconds.
13. See step 7
14. Remain connected to the Internet and now change your date to 8 days ahead of the current date (so, if now is 4th July 2015, you will change your date to 12th July 2015).
12. Start the game up again and if everything went right, you will be greeted with the Daily coin bonus popup. Accept the coins. If there is no popup, try the whole fix again back from step 1,
13. See step 7
14. Don't launch the game again until 9 days have passed from the current date (so, if now is 4th July 2015, don't launch the game again until 13th July 2015)

Now, even though 8 days ahead of the current date is in the very near future relative to the current date, achievements still don't work at that date, so you still can't go forward in days (9 days ahead, 10 days ahead, etc. from current date) and claim the daily coin bonus every day and expect to get the achievement after claiming the 5th in a row. HOWEVER, now you changed in cloud your most recent Daily coin bonus redemption date to 8 days ahead of the current date, instead of it being years in the future like it was in the beginning. Now all that's left to do is to wait 9 days before launching the game again and the Daily coin bonus popup will show up for the 2nd day in a row at that time. Afterwards, you can continue logging in daily to collect your bonus and the achievement will unlock on the 5th day and if it doesn't, then just uninstall and install the game back and go for it for another 5 days.

I will say it one more time in the end, that I cannot confirm the full success of this fix, because I need to wait 9 days from today (4th July 2015) and then see if I get the Daily coin bonus popup. That's why I will update this solution with my verdict on 13th July 2015.
