In order to rack up coins the easy way "watch" an ad for 750 coins. I say "watch" because the ads don't seem to show up very regularly.. You can do this every 30 minutes.

1. Change the clock on your PC forward 30 mins, an hour, a day whatever is easiest for you.
2. Go back into game watch ad again.

You will need to move forwards 30 minutes in time from whatever time your PC thinks it is when the ad finishes playing. If the game gives you the watch ad option moving backwards in time will not cause the counter to have a countdown again

If you have dual monitors you can just leave the game open on one screen and change the time on the other.
If not you need to use ALT+TAB to go back and forth a little bit more time consuming but getting 750 coins every 15-45 seconds (depending on if the ad decides to load) isn't too shabby.

EDIT
Did some probably sloppy math. If you are terribly unlucky and it for some reason takes you 45 second at a time you should still be done in a little over an hour.

It is marked missable because of the synergy cumulative + missable = you need it in one bankroll. Synergies are not clearly visible yet, working on that.

Click coins again (750 more in ~30 mins Leave this window open!)
ALT+Tab out of the game to desktop (assuming you have one monitor)
Click on time.(assuming it is not already open)
Change date/time(assuming it is not already open)
Move forward in time.
ALT+Tab back into game (750 available to watch)

To avoid seeing the advertisements, drop offline. Once I disconnected and shut off WiFi, I never saw another ad.

Just wanted to add that this works great in the Win 10 preview - you can run the game in a window next to the Time control panel. (Might be the same with Stardock's Modernmix program.)

Has anyone else tried this and had their cherries bells and bars reset? Im glad i went for this work around AFTER getting The Completionist achievement. I recommend if you're more than half way to getting the first payout from the gold bars, you do that before trying this method. Just a heads up.

Just got this partly through a huge win and finished off the rest using this method. Won 85k off a 2k bet on Sweet Riches. If you have the coin, a huge bet (especially on that one) occasionally seems to help boost the bankroll IMO.

I guess I am a bit dense. Do you change the time while the game is still running?
I have been changing the time the last few days, but I have been exiting the game first. It really screwed up my timer and I never get the video offer anymore.
If someone can elaborate on how this is done, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I was told because it is a cumulative achievement.

It doesn't make sense to me either that it is missable since the game doesn't have an ending that would require you to replay the game in order to obtain it or something.

No matter how far forward you go you can always fix it.
Just jump forward another hour get the video to show up and jump back 2 hours(or more) before actually watching it.

I didn't bother syncing my time while doing this so by the time i finished the game my PC was over 2 hours behind real time. Those seconds spent changing back and forth really add up ;)

An even faster way and guarantees no video to watch, leave your country as Trinidad and do the move forward in time trick - no videos have ever shown up for me so takes about 8 seconds to do per time !
Just doing it now so should have it in a few more minutes.

This has apparently glitched on me in a good way. I had the game open in the background and was navigating back occasionally to view an ad. One time I went back and got a message saying it had synced my coin balance with the cloud (first time I've seen this) and my total had gone up by 100,000.

Sounds like you are missing a step then or maybe your missing the day roll over change over.

Your comment was posted ~20 minutes before midnight EST. So if you are changing from 11:40 PM on Tuesday and then jump "forward" an hour to 12:40 PM Tuesday you are actually moving 11 hours into the past ;)

I don't think if the game was patched it would have a 3 strikes your out rule.

Dunno what to tell you.

I know the game has received at least one patch since i created this solution/ finished the game i still have it pending so i don't know if there were more after it.

If they support the cloud save finally there might be a problem where you have 1500 on the cloud and it isn't uploading the new amount but keeps downloading the save with the old amount.

I could be completely wrong though.

I finally got it. Had to close the game completely. Reopened it and it came up with 46k of coins. Maybe could be a cloud problem but finally got it with your guide. Cheers bud
