How to unlock the Puzzle Expert achievement in Microsoft Jigsaw - Definitive Guide

Buy the Kid's pack. You should be able to buy it almost instantly with the money you have or you should be able to buy it very fast when doing the other puzzles.
It has the most simple puzzles with the least amount of pieces. Easiest puzzles have 12 pieces while the expert puzzles have 48 (which is less than the other puzzles which can have 300 or 600 pieces)

You should be able to finish a puzzle in under at least 5 to 6 minutes flat easily.

Awesone tip. I found the kids pack under the Classic Jigsaw collection. The packs are in alphabetical order, just scroll to K and you should find in there.

To answer this, I am sorry to be kind of vague. Might be patched in the meantime but sometimes it is there and sometimes it disappears for no real reason.
I really have no idea what causes it, but one of my other solutions has someone who knows that removing a certain file or map might solve the problem.

Edit: this one.

I just found a WAY faster way than doing the jigsaws legit.

I created a short video that should help reproducing this method:

The process of doing an expert (or any difficulty) jigsaw in roughly 2 minutes is pretty simple:
0. This method only works on freshly started jigsaws. If you move a tile before using this method it will still kinda work for most tiles but some may be in the wrong place. (Thanks to Tazmad7 for pointing at it)
1. Open an jigsaw
2. Press the "lock view" button
3. Select all tiles
4. Grab the lower right tile and move your mouse to the top left of the screen and let go. All tiles should be on one big pile now.
5. Select all again and move the pile to somewhere you can access it nicely
6. Take the top piece and move it down one tile and let go. It should snap to the tile that is now on top.
7. Take the 2 snapped tiles and move them down one tile again and it should snap to the top tile again.
8. Repeat step 7 until you have a complete column of pieces and move it to the right. That should be the right edge of the jigsaw.
9. Now repeat 7 and 8 until you have the next column complete and snap it to the column you already have.
10. Keep repeating until the puzzle is complete

This is ridiculous laugh

Can you please explain step 6 better please if possible. I can get all the pieces in 1 pile but unsure what you mean by take the top piece and move down 1 tile and let go.

Do all pieces need to be selected when taking the top piece to move down 1 tile?

I just cant seem to get this step to work.

Edit : I seem to have worked it out, I think it wasn't working as I was trying to do it on an in progress puzzle. From a new puzzle this method worked well.

Here is a video I created for this method.

As the achievement says, this has to be done in Classic Jigsaw on expert difficulty. The puzzle you choose doesn't matter. I'd recommend choosing a custom or a very simple puzzle to do this with, usually ranging from 124 pieces to 264, I'd do with whatever you'd think you can handle.

Note: You can click the settings option on the right side of the screen, and turn your timer on, this will keep track of how much time you've used up, but it won't start counting until you've moved your first piece.
