Cannot be done in challenges. Play 100 games accumulative between the two modes. I had 93 tri-peaks boards cleared, and 7 pyramid board clears.
The solution says "OR" but it must mean all together.
For the King of the Hill achievement of winning 100 Klondike, spider, or free cell games, this didn't work. I needed 100 free cell wins. ( I used DrCanadianNinja's guide)

Does the games from the star club count towards this achievement?

Ok this may seem like a silly question but how do you actually 'win' either of these modes outside of Star Club and Daily Challenges? They just seem to go on and on in the regular mode?

If you have a Windows Phone you can quickly get a lot of wins.
1) Get close to completing a game on the first device and then exit to the menu.
2) Then load up the cloud save on the second device and beat the game.
3) Then on the first device go back to the game, pick "Local" over the cloud save, and then exit to the menu again.
4) Repeat.

Unlike "King of the Hill," this achievement is a combined total. I unlocked it with 12 wins in Pyramid and 88 wins in TriPeaks. Pick your favorite game type and keep playing until you've cleared 100 boards. Notice that you can clear multiple boards within a single game. You can track the number of boards that you've cleared on the "Statistics" screen.
Again, daily challenges do not count towards this achievement.

Note that boards in the Star Club and Daily Challenge modes (when you get the "Clear X boards" requirement) don't count towards this achievement unfortunately.
This achievement will come naturally while working on the "Extreme Altitude" and "Golden Pharaoh" achievements, since you'll need to clear 100 boards in each game. This achievement requires a combined total of 100 cleared boards across both games, so you'll unlock this achievement at the halfway point. Refer to each individual achievement listed above for more details about clearing boards in each game mode. As with all achievements, difficulty does not affect this achievement.
