How to unlock the Dig, Dig, Dig! achievement in Microsoft Solitaire Collection - Definitive Guide
As the description says, start a 3 board game (make sure to pick 3 boards from the dropdown menu on top) of Pyramid, and choose Hard difficulty. You then need to complete all three boards.
The good news is that, while completing all three boards, each completed board acts like a checkpoint. Once it's done, you don't have to redo it, especially if you choose Undo All on your current board. In the grand scheme of difficulties, Hard difficulty isn't very hard, especially compared to Grandmaster. The biggest advice I can give is that when your new board gets dealt out, review it for any cards where three or more of them are present on the board. For example, if you see all four Jacks on the board, that's a red flag. Immediately check how many 2s are on the board to pair with those Jacks. Three 2s are also on the board? That means you have one 2 in your draw pile, and you'll need to make sure that the other three 2s are possible to match with three Jacks on the board. You may need to eliminate cards on the pyramid very unevenly to ensure you can have access to a Jack and 2 at the same time to eliminate both. This is the primary thing that makes difficulty increase in Pyramid - knowing what matches need to occur between two cards on the board. With a little bit of Undoing, you should be able to manage each of the three boards to unlock this achievement.
SOLVER METHOD: refer to "Grandmaster of Bronze" for a link to a solver that is capable of solving every game type and mode in this entire game. Using it will get you this achievement in less than ten minutes.
