The price of amulets increase exponentially. However the cost of the first 3 amulets are 50, 100, and 500 gold respectively. Just ensure you these amounts of gold when you respawn to buy these three amulets. Do that and this is yours.

Should also be noted that you cannot hold more than one at a time so you have to die in between and use up the one you have before you can buy a second or third one.

Yes, you can buy an amulet after you respawn. Just ensure that you have enough gold to do so. I gave the prices for those who what to get this out of the way very early.
