How to unlock the Totally Decked Out achievement in Microsoft Treasure Hunt - Definitive Guide

There is a pretty handy exploit you can use to make this WAY quicker than normal.

To do this you need to be able to "save" your game and go back to an earlier version.

You can do this by playing on two different devices (which gives you a bit more flexibility) or on a single device. I'll detail this method since it's applicable to more people.

How to "Backup"
1. Exit the game and go offline. (Either use airplane mode, turn off your wifi, or disconnect/disable your ethernet as appropriate.)
2. Relaunch, and play or do whatever you want.
3. Close the game, go online.
4. Relaunch the game and click play, it will ask you if you want to use your online or local save. Be sure to choose ONLINE.

You'll be back to where you were at step 1. But a few things will carry over, notably upgrades purchased (although they won’t be visible until you have (I think) started two new levels, including respawning with the amulet), and lifetime gold earned will go up (but not the amount you have in game). You can abuse this to get 5 million gold. (Back up at the end of a level where you earned a lot of gold, like one with a bonus mine. Finish the level, then go back to your earlier save. You can repeat as many times as you want, easily getting 100k each time if you are on later levels.)

I'm going to go through all the warnings/disclaimers first before covering the process.

My personal experience was I had gotten both heart upgrades and then after reaching the next 2 stores and reloading several times at each was only seeing shields. I decided to just suicide after reaching the store and see what would come up a few times. I got two upgrades I needed in a row, then went back to my earlier save. I tried again and saw that I had kept those two upgrades.

I mentioned this to a friend who had gotten stuck with only getting shield upgrades, and he had a slightly different experience.

Warning 1: You are offline, so achievements won't pop immediately. Obviously once the final upgrade shows up you can go back online before buying it. But if you are getting other achievements on the way for map tubes/dynamite/or picks, be aware they might not pop up when you go back online. For my friend, they did pop once he was back online and picked up some gold, but your mileage may vary. Of course, worst case, if you need to, you could always reset your progress and use this exploit just focusing on the items you need.

Warning 2: It was also his experience that the heart upgrades were not retained after restoring the save. So it might go more smoothly if you have at least one of those purchased before starting (so you just need one more), and save it for your last upgrade. Alternatively save a little extra gold (like 175k) so you can afford both heart upgrades without having to reload in between. Either way you can buy them online after you finish getting all the other upgrades. (Of course you can die and use the amulet to do it quickly and just go online as soon as you see the 5th heart in the store, but before actually buying it.)

Warning 3: My friend said he seemed to not have upgrades show up normally after abusing this exploit. He didn't have quite enough to purchase the final upgrades and had trouble getting them to show up once he had progressed further, and ended up having to reset his progress and start over. So I would make sure you have enough money on hand before you start doing this.

Warning 4: it sounds like the above glitch could be related to purchasing another upgrade before you die/respawn and your prior upgrades are restored. So I would be sure to wait until they come back before buying any new upgrades, just to be safe. (I always had shields come up first, so it wasn’t an issue for me.)

The Exploit
If you haven't put it all together yet....
To prepare you need to have at least 150k gold (see below) at the end of a level prior to a store. More money will make it a little quicker, but not much.

1. "Backup" your game when you have enough money and are right at the end of a level prior to the store (15/20/25/30 etc.)
2. Continue your game offline and proceed to the level with the store.
3. Purchase an amulet and an upgrade if it is selling one you need. I recommend not purchasing an upgrade until you have respawned and your upgrades are showing up again.
4. Kill yourself, and repeat steps 3-4 until you are out of money. (For purposes of example lets say you went from 4 maps to 10 maps.)
5. Restore your "backup".
6. You will be back at the end of the previous level, with all your money, and it will seem like you have no upgrades. (In our example you would be back at a 4 map capacity.)
7. Repeat from step 1. (I would move a step or two so there is a change for it to save. I'm not sure this is strictly necessary but I did it just to be on the safe side and so I could tell whether my save had updated or not.) The trick here is that as soon as you suicide the 1st time (in step 4), your upgrades will be back, so you will have all of your money, as well as whatever upgrades you bought, plus you will be in position to repeat and get more.

As far as how much money you need, I recommend a minimum of 150k, since you will need at least 128k to purchase the final upgrades (to 30). But more coins means you can respawn more times and buy more upgrades before running out of money and having to reload. I had about 500k, but that is way more than you need.

I'll add my experience and course of action with this achievement. So, I got stuck in the packs of shields loop like most others and I reset my progress by re-installing the game, launching it offline, completing the first level, then re-launching it online and selecting to continue with the local save. Your statistics from the main menu won't reset by doing this and that's fine.

Then I continued the game on that save, amassing about 180k coins by the end of level 25 without dying (I did buy consumables on the way, including the amulet). I recommend having on hand at least that amount; continue to the end of level 30 if you don't have enough. Once I reached the end of level 25 with about 180k coins I stopped before taking the exit, backed out to the main menu and quit the game. Then I ran through the following cycle over and over until I had all upgrades:

0. Never buy packs of shields
1. Go offline and launch the game; wait in the main menu till statistics are loaded
2. Hit play, finish level 25 and proceed to level 26
3. Make sure you have/get the amulet
4. Buy whatever upgrade is offered (usually the pack of shield comes first; ignore it)
5. Die, buy the amulet and the upgrade, if offered one. Sometimes the pack of shields shows up again; ignore it. Keep repeating till you run out of coins, then die one last time and return Home (to main menu)
6. Close the game, go online, launch the game
7. Wait a bit in the main menu and hit play, choose cloud save during the loading. You'll be back to the exit of level 25 seemingly in the same state upgrade-wise as before you went offline. In reality the upgrades you bought while offline are preserved, but are just not loaded yet. They get loaded after you die at step 5.
8. Take a few steps near the exit of level 25, but don't enter it.
9. Back out to the main menu and close the game.
10. Repeat the cycle.

There is just one more quirk and that is about the health upgrades. If you buy the health upgrades offline and then later revert to the cloud save, you'll notice that the health upgrades are not preserved after you die at step 5 of the cycle, unlike the consumable upgrades. That's fine, you can buy them whenever they are offered, including the Ruby Heart and it won't mess anything up. Because the health upgrades are lost while repeating the cycle, naturally that means they'll be left for last. After you have all consumable upgrades (30 of each), in the following cycle more than likely you'll be offered the heart upgrades back to back. With 180k coins you'l have more than enough for both of them, even some spare amulets if the upgrades don't appear back to back.

Before clicking to buy the final upgrade, the Ruby Heart, minimize the game and go online. Go back in the game and choose local save. Wait about a minute. Then buy the Ruby Heart and proceed with the level. Shortly after. the achievement will pop and the nightmare will be over.

I managed to unlock all glitched achievements after 'shields only shop' today. Trying different methods and what is worst, some of them is discontinued due to game updates (kinda strange...).

First I did EVERY achievement that can be obtain even with shields in shop. Then I followed VisibleRaptor5's guide below 'Pyromaniac' achievement and some comments below + some tricks from other guides:
-fully reset game data
-go to offline
-play as not logged user until almost end of mission 25 or 30 (pickaxe, dynamite and maps upgrade is okay, but save lots money until now)
- quit game, make backup of two files "TreasureHuntProgress.bin.ark" and "SyncedData.bin.ark"
-still offline, run game, go to 26th (31st) mission, buy upgrade if appear (IGNORE HEARTS) and amulet
-die and repeat buying until you out of money
-quit game, copy your backup to original file (do not delete your backup!!!)
--run game, end 25th (30th) mission, first shop buy only amulet, die and after that your upgrades will be updated, so you can repeat dying and buying

Hearts save for last, because they cannot be progressed by this method. And if you need achievement for specific upgrade, when it appear in shop, turn on your Internet connection, wait till game ask about your save (choose always local) and it should pop after buying or picking some gold. Then turn off connection, close game and repeat everything until you collect 30 of 3 upgrades. After that you just need hearts which shouldn't be glitched.

Beware that with any game patch, every method could stop or start working.

I tried, and at the beggining it was working, but when repeating the steps after I was out of money I ended again in the loop of shields. This time it was loop of shields or heart-5 upgrade all the time :(

Does it help if you go ahead and buy the heart upgrade? And then reload again? If not I’m going to edit it and suggest either having the 5 heart upgrade prior to doing this, or having 250k+ so you can get heart upgrade and afford something else. You could try buying it and either slogging through five more levels or starting a new run. I don’t know if the bug my friend ran into where he stopped getting upgrades was a random unlucky glitch or if it always happens.

Shockingly, this game is glitchy. Glad it worked in the end.

It doesn't help to have the heart 5 upgrade, after that i get only shields, i'll try new game or reset again :S

Got it after third try. It works but the game is very glitchy so it's easy to get a glitch and go back to the shield loop. In my experience I think the heart 5 upgrade must be the last one to get.

This worked perfectly. Thank you.

Two notes: first, I did get back into an infinite shield/amulet loop using this method the first time. I think it was because I purchased an upgrade before my previously purchased upgrades had been restored through resurrecting or finishing levels. That seemed to confuse it, so it retaliated by never offering me anything but shields again (this game's equivalent of taking its ball and going home...).

Second, if you save at the end of a level, it keeps crediting your gold total with whatever you earned in that level. Saving at the end of a level makes gathering the 5,000,000 gold easy as well.

Given these facts, I suggest you save at the end of the level (as suggested in the guide) rather than at the beginning of the next level and that you make sure you do not buy an upgrade on your first time in the store, no matter what it is. Wait until you die the first time and all your stats have been restored.

Again, thank you for this guide. It helped me get through this awful game after it glitched on me (infinite shield/amulet loop) when I tried to finish it "legit".

Excellent, worked well for me. I was in an infinite shield loop for what seemed like 100 times. Then I tried your solution and it worked; it took some time but a lot better then I was imagining. Thanks for the idea.

I kind of enjoyed this game, but it got VERY frustrating getting shields every single time when I needed so many other upgrades.

Yeah that’s the reason I found it in the first place. Sick of shields and decided to try suiciding just to check a bunch of times in a row and then realized it remembered them even if you went back to your save.

I used this method and here are a couple of my notes. Level 25 was the spot for me where I had the right amount of money to buy everything. Just keep doing it at that level and you should be fine. Also, the first time you have to load the level is when the upgrades show up. At the beginning of the next level they didn't show. After going into a bonus level and then returning to the main level they showed up. That seem to count for the two levels you mentioned.

That would probably work also. But going to 26 and then dying on purpose and starting level 26 again should work as well.

That's what I meant. I was just trying to say that after level 25 is where I had the perfect amount of money. Of course I pass that shop because it only has shields and then die on level 26 to actually get upgrades. Excellent description on how to save the level and return to it to keep getting the upgrades.

Are you loading a level twice? If you start on 25, going to 26 and suiciding once will do it. If you start on 26 you would need to do it twice.

Also it doesn’t seem to work with hearts. Beyond that, I’m not sure what to suggest. You could try the two box method if you have access to another PC. Good luck

@PJB, if you are getting the next level upgrades after killing yourself, then they are being saved. You have to load the game a second time after returning to playing either from completing another level or completing a bonus level they should show up.

I've ended up just doing it without any offlining/save states but with suiciding with amulets on shop levels to buy multiples upgrade per shop level.
I did have to reset my game data after doing 50+ levels only seeing shields though which was very annoying

Hi, this achievement is glitched for me (only shields in the shop after getting the 5 hearts) and I want to do it again from the beginning but I don't know how to delete my save from the cloud. Please can someone help me?

Fuck this. I'm stuck in the shield loop again. Infuriating.

EDIT: I just blitzed to level 6 for the shop and died a few times with amulets. I was then offered the 5 heart upgrade. Maybe I'm not screwed. I'll start a fresh game later and push through to see if I get upgrades at shops.

Sorry for the rant. It's just so frustrating.

Do you get the shields even if you suicide and use amulet to hit same level in succession? That was how I figured those exploit out. Reloaded a dozen times. All shields. Went 5 more levels. A dozen more reloads. All shields. Got fed up and tried suiciding and started getting upgrades after I respawned at shop.

Edit: wrote this w/o seeing your edit. So it sounds like that helped a little at least. If you can get to 125k and hit another shop hopefully you can suicide then and start making progress again.

I just wanted to say I hate this game so much. I'm too scared of a shield loop to risk playing with the save files. That method worked like a charm on the Win 8 version, but on this one, I got my 5 hearts and half of my item upgrades and got stuck in a shield loop. Had to restart from scratch.

Really not especially relevant to the solution, I just wanted to rant.

I ended up posting my own solution but basically, after several times of getting stuck and resetting everything, I was able to avoid the shield loop by resetting everything a final time and then exclusively playing offline. This also has the added benefit of never showing any ads whatsoever.

Once I finally got to the point of the shop is offering me the last upgrade, I connected to the Internet, waited 30 or so seconds, bought the upgrade, and the achievement popped.

I just got the final achievement, and I'm glad it's done. The only way to avoid the shield bug was to play completely offline, and never restart the game when you're online. The save system in this game is seriously messed up.

Still works! BUT I can't launch the game while offline. What I did instead was open a command prompt, load the game, make sure your stats and profile are loaded, and hit play. Once in game I switched to the command prompt and typed

ipconfig /release

then switched back and finished, bought upgrades, etc until I was out of money. End the game and close it. Back to the command prompt:

ipconfig /renew

and load the game. Again, be sure your profile and stats are up then play. Select cloud save if the choice is offered. Everything else is like the other guides. I had to do about 5 loops since armor would show up and the final upgrades were 150k each. Upon reconnecting and loading after having all upgrades, the achievement popped after I went to the shop and proceeded to the next level. Going to use these upgrades to get a bit farther for a good gold drop to exploit for the 5 million.

I started a new game and I got to level 46 a couple times & I'm stuck w/ 10pickaxes, 20 maps, and 20 dynamite, and 5 hearts. I started on a new computer & everything transferred over, all the same number of items & all I get is shields to buy. So I'm not sure what to do. Am I already maxed? Why haven't any of the achievements popped for the items I do have? If you look I have 5 cheevos left and 3 of them are related to getting pickaxes, dynamite, and maps. I have unlocked other achievements since I started new games and new games on the new computer. Thanks.

I did the glitch at the beginning of Level 26. I had to suicide twice to see the previously purchased upgrades return. It sounds like if I had saved at the end of Level 25, I'd only need to suicide once (after getting to Level 26). But sometimes saving at the end of a level would put me at the beginning of the level after reload, hence my decision to save on Level 26.

This worked perfectly for me at first. Had enough money in two goes at it to unlock all but 1 upgrade. Unfortunately some kind of Cloud Save conflict happened when I went to attempt it a third time. The prompt to load my save from Cloud or local popped up, I picked Cloud, and it loaded me in at level 1. The prompt immediately popped up again asking to use Cloud save data from a couple hours ahead of my current time. Really bizarre. Have no choice but to start back from Level 1 and collect enough money for my final upgrade lol.

Edit: the Cloud Save prompt was popping up again on every single level until restarting the game. Seems things are back to normal now.

I started this game recently as a free game for the 12 days of Christmas challenge. I immediately ran into problems with the shield loop and although this is not really directly related to the solution, I’ve noticed a lot of comments about people having problems and I think I figured out what caused the problem for me. I was copying the two important save files and overwriting them trying to manipulate the shop and then to build up the 5 million gold for the other achievement. I found that as soon as I messed with the save files, I got into the loop. I’ve been playing a few runs now without any save manipulation after completely deleting everything and starting over and I am constantly getting upgrades at every shop. I’m up to about 15 or 20 for all three upgrades and I have not purchased any heart upgrades, which I was offered once when I did not have enough money. Hopefully by continuing to play normally I will get the rest of the upgrades I need.

It took me forever to figure out how to do the glitch you're describing in the solution. The way you described how to "backup" and the way you kept referring to doing a "backup" was really confusing and poorly worded, in my opinion. Now that I've figured everything out, it makes a little more sense, but I wasted probably 4-5 hours of progress because of losing saves from doing the glitch wrong. For anyone who might also have trouble understanding, here's what I did:

1. Play online until you have 150K+ gold and are at the end of a level ending in 5 or 0.
2. Close the game.
3. Disconnect your device from the internet.
4. Launch the game.
5. Finish the level.
6. You'll be brought to the store. Buy the upgrade and an amulet. Exit the store.
7. Kill yourself. You'll be brought back to the store.
8. Repeat steps 6-7 until you run out of money.
9. Close out of the game.
10. Reconnect your device to the internet.
11. Launch the game and click play.
(11.5. Watch an annoying ad roll)
12. Choose to restore the "cloud" save.
13. Move one square to the left/right/up/down.
14. Return to the main menu.
15. Repeat steps 2-14 until you unlock the achievement.

A new update, version 2.2.2230.0, was released in March 2021. For me, it caused the game to crash when attempting to start it offline. I was closing in on an offline completion for this achievement and was worried that I wouldn't be able to complete the game due to the shield bug. I took the risk and loaded the game online. It didn't give me the option to sync my local save and my game stated with my cloud save from over a year ago. That save had 30 pickaxes, 30 dynamite, 6 maps and 5 hearts when I started to only see shields. I was on level 51 and had close to 1,000,000 coins, so I decided to suicide to see what the store would give me. The first time I got shields. I died again and I got the 30 map tube upgrade, even though I should have gotten the 8 map upgrade. The achievement unlocked immediately after.

It appears they may have resolved the shield bug at the cost of making the player have to watch the ads.

Good luck to anyone still working on this and thanks to the Palesius for the guide.

You're gonna need

30 pickaxe
30 dynamite
30 maps
and 5 hearts.

The higher the level the more money is available but the more expensive the items get... eventually you'll fall into a loop of only shields and amulets for sale the best thing here is to either start a new game (hit menu and then new game in the opposite corner) or push on but I had 6 rounds of shops which is something like 30 levels before I was offered anything else.... personally I don't believe buying or not buying makes a difference.... It's just faster to start a new game and go from there. You can die to start back at the shop but it doesn't always work and as amulets get more expensive it is not the fastest way if you can just blast a straightish line through a level (don't forget the beginning levels are shorter... but beyond about level 15 it is all much the same unchanged to level 120 (beyond that I don't know but I don't imagine it changes much)

Can I get clarification on something? If I am stuck in that loop you mentioned, and I start a new game, am I essentially completely starting over from scratch (losing all upgrades I've purchased)? Or are the upgrades I bought on my run still in place for the new run? I don't remember this being so grindy from the Win 8 version, but it's been a while.

You get to keep your upgrades but lose all gold and all purchased items. In other words, the maximum item counts remain the same, but you have zero of each.

I know this because I am on my fourth cycle through now. I have never been able to get more than 6/25/25 pickaxe/dynamite/map. It's all shields and amulets now. Broken game.

@Mr Rodster - Awesome, thanks. I didn't see the point of restarting if that wasn't the case, but didn't want to make a costly assumption in case that wasn't how it worked. Luckily it's a fun-ish game and good time waster if I'm bored. I'm sure we'll all get this achievement at some point!

@DinoSuitGirl - In case anyone else is wondering like I was, might be helpful to include the information Mr Rodster provided about keeping your upgrades if/when you start over.

Just reset my game completely. Deleted everything, including collected belts and hearts. Every shop now has an upgrade belt. I think maybe buying the extra hearts first like I did stops the shops providing upgrades. I have not bought any hearts this time and all is going well. Will update if it changes.

After my 5th extra heart the shop stops with Upgrades and the only thing …..shields, I think this is really the reason, after I delete my savefile I get my first upgrade after Level 5 the next on 10, I hope this is the solution for this bug.

edit: now after many Hours playing from the beginning I realise the same bug, but now with 4 Hearts and the rest 8/8/8, the loop shows only the Shield + sometimes the last upgrade for the hearts

I have the same issue Grobanite has. I purchased my fourth heart upgrade and now the only upgrades I have been offered are the shields and occasionally the fifth heart upgrade. The crappy thing is that I was nearly done with my other upgrades and will now have to start over. I definitely suggest waiting to buy any heart upgrades until you have all of the other upgrades.

One additional tip - using the amulet will revisit and cycle what's in the shop, so if you get shields / 5th heart at the shop and have enough money for the upgrade, I recommend just killing yourself on the _1st/_6th level and trying another shot at the shop. I've gotten 3 upgrades in a row that way.

Just died on purpose 8 times in a row and only ever got 5th heart or shields as an upgrade - this game is a joke! :@

Yikes. Yeah, it's dodgy on the RNG. FWIW, I tended to buy shields, if I could spare the gold, with the hope it might cycle.

After many wasted hours going for the 'All Decked Out' achievement, I can offer some advice from my personal experiences:

1) The 5 ❤ upgrade must be the final upgrade you purchase. Purchasing this upgrade caused the infinite shield loop for me, which meant I had to delete my save files to reset my progress.

2) Purchasing the 4 ❤ upgrade was fine for me (contrary to Grobanite's experience) and did not cause the infinite shield loop.

3) I seemed to only get equipment upgrades if I deliberately died and resurrected after a Mummy Shop. That is, I entered a shop and was offered shields, and after resurrection the shop offered equipment instead.

I think its the hearts that are screwing this up. Not bought any upgrade of hearts yet and am still getting other upgrades. Thanks for the heads up.

tl;dr: I finally avoided the shield loop by resetting app data and exclusively playing offline.
__________________________________________________________________________________
This achievement requires getting the following upgrades:

Hearts from 3 to 5
Pickaxe Belt from 2 to 30
Dynamite Bag from 2 to 30
Map Tube from 2 to 30

These upgrades are permanent and carry over when you die and fail a run.

I don't recall what the 4 Heart upgrade costs (I think it was 64,000) but the 5 Heart upgrade costs 128,000.

The Pickaxe Belt, Dynamite Bag, and Map Tube increase in capacity to 4, 6, 8, 10, then increments of 5 up to 30 which requires 8 upgrades each. These upgrades cost 1000 initially and double in price each time up to 128,000 for the final upgrade.

Upgrades are offered at the Mummy Shop which appears after level 1, then after levels that end in 0 and 5. The Shop will always offer Pickaxes, Dynamite, and Maps in addition to the revive Amulet and a random item that can be any of the upgrades you currently need OR a pack of shields.

I ran into a problem where the game would get stuck in a loop only offering packs of shields no matter how many times I visited the shop (both through progress and through deaths and respawns from the Amulet). I believe this happened because I had copied and replaced save files in order to grind out the 5 mil gold achievement. After realizing I was stuck, I reset app data and started over but ran into the same issue again. I kept getting popups asking whether I wanted to use the cloud or local save files and I reasoned that there was an issue with the cloud save causing the game to get confused with my progress. So I reluctantly reset my app data again and started the grind all over, but this time I only played while my PC was disconnected from WiFi.

I pushed through the game and upgrades were almost always offered. There were only a handful of times where I was offered the shield bundle and it took me about 20 hours, but I was able to grind out all the upgrades without issue. When I was offered the final upgrade I needed (the 30 Dynamite Bag- I had had had 5 Hearts for a while), I connected to WiFi and waited a minute before making the purchase. And when I did, the achievement popped without issue.

Can confirm that playing offline helps with *a lot* of the issues this game has. I just start it up while online, and once I'm fully signed in and the achievement list has loaded on the screen, I turn on airplane mode and start playing.
When offline, the game has far fewer issues of freezing, lag, crashes, and of course no 30-second ads before every bonus room, and less shield loops.

I also enabled MouseKeys which allows you to play much faster. Just turn them on, press numpad * (asterisk) to click both mouse buttons at the same time, and hit numpad 5 to 'click'. This will make your explorer walk over to the clicked spot, and do a chord (clear all tiles around him). Added bonus is that the explorer won't open covered tiles, and won't accidentally set off traps. With this combination of using mouse, right-click, and numpad 5 chords, you can move through a level a lot faster.

I've not run into any shield loops yet and haven't messed with save files but this game is so frustrating that I think I'll follow your advice and start playing offline and only connect to the internet momentarily when unlocking achievement upgrades. I'm also leaving the 5 heart upgrade until last as a lot of comments have mentioned that upgrade caused the loop. One question though, did you launch the game online then go offline when Xbox signed in or did you remain offline before even launching the game?

I've run into shield loops a lot, they stopped after completely resetting the app and only playing offline (stay online until the main screen with profile+achievements is loaded, then go offline). I don't use the cheat method from the other solution that messes with saves.

Welcome

Both "I’m Rich!" and "Totally Decked Out" are what making this game really long but there is trick to make this easier and less stressful and fast by using the save backup trick.

Back up your save:

To back up your save you need to go this path:
C:\Users\"yourusername"\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftTreasureHunt....

Then copy these two files to any place you like:
SyncedData.bin.ark
TreasureHuntProgress.bin.ark

Once you need to load up you back up save make sure to fully close the game (You can check if the game closed on task manager) then copy your files to the same location on game folder.

Tips:

1. Once you reach higher levels its impossible to progress without items so make sure to buy everything especially the maps because when you get stuck and that will probably happens from the start on Level 41 and beyond you backup your save and use all the maps to go as much deep as possible then take a picture with your phone for the board and reload your backup save this is very very useful to progress easily.

2.To get 5M gold you need to collect as much gems as possible but save your dynamites for the level before the shop level because there always be chest treasures on those levels they have the highest amount of gold more than 9500.

Gold Trick:

Here is a an awesome trick found by VisibleRaptor5 to make the gold grind super fast the only thing i recommend is to collect more than 100k to make this goes faster.

Note: This trick wont gave you an actual gold it will just rise the amount of total gold gathered in statistic page, After getting 5M you need to collect an actual gold to trigger the achievement to pop.

Upgrades trick:

So once you reach 5M backup your save again start the game and die use the amulet to respawn and you will be at the shop again to check there is a new items or not this is so tricky because the upgrades may take long time before they show up but anyway you have a backup save if they didn't show so you are safe just keep reloading your save until an upgrade show up buy it and back up your save again rinse and repeat until you hate the game laugh

Progress Transfer:

If you complete the Win 8 version and you want to transfer your progress to Win 10 Version you need to install the Win 8 version game on a Win 10 PC using APPX file installer then you must go store app and update the game game to Win 10 version and your progress should transfer there.

Note:
Make sure you haven't started the Win 10 before or played it because this doesn't support cloud save transfer so this may not work for you if you started it already.

Update:
If you transfer your progress to the Win 10 version you can unlock all the achievements by doing certain actions except these four:
Microsoft Treasure Hunt (Windows)Death Cannot Stop Me!CrysisWarXX3The Death Cannot Stop Me! achievement in Microsoft Treasure Hunt (Windows) worth 105 pointsPurchase 3 Amulets in one game

Microsoft Treasure Hunt (Windows)PyromaniacCrysisWarXX3The Pyromaniac achievement in Microsoft Treasure Hunt (Windows) worth 197 pointsPurchase the 8 Dynamite Bag

Microsoft Treasure Hunt (Windows)Master MinerCrysisWarXX3The Master Miner achievement in Microsoft Treasure Hunt (Windows) worth 229 pointsPurchase the 10 Pickaxe Belt

Microsoft Treasure Hunt (Windows)No Sense of DirectionCrysisWarXX3The No Sense of Direction achievement in Microsoft Treasure Hunt (Windows) worth 249 pointsPurchase the 15 Map Tube

To unlock those you need to do a reset for the app and disconnect your PC from internet before lunching the game again, Start playing on Level 1 and exit the game and close the app then reconnect your PC and lunch the game again and choose local save this will allow to start a fresh save so you can get those achievements.

Update 2:
It seems Win 10 version is glitchy if you start using the backup trick and it will stop offering upgrades if that happens disconnect your PC and play offline until you buy for example the 8 bag dynamite after that start nest level close the game reconnect your PC and choose local save after that just die and the achievement for 8 dynamite upgrade will pop if that didn't make it pop disconnect your PC and lunch the game and die use the amulet and go to shop stay on shop and reconnect your PC this also should trigger it to pop, You can use these method for all other upgrades, Its a broken game on Win 10 you just need to keep trying with it good luck wink
